Pretty sure it's just a nifty name for the season pass.

NRS isn't the type of scum to take out four completely finished characters from the game and sell them separately.

Im curious if Goro is included in that Kombat pack. He isnt listed as a pre-order bonus for the Collectors editions.
 
I'll be livid if Goro doesn't come with the Amazon import edition...but I'm preordering it anyway since I have that #giftcardswag

I didnt say they were good, did I? I have been saying since I started posting how little I want any old characters in the game, especially those three.

Sorry, Rain is a garbage joke character and always has been.

I'd like to think that, but isn't that essentially what they're doing with Goro?
Goro is pre-order only, for now (aka likely time-released).

I'm guessing he is, precisely because he's not listed as a pre-order bonus. Would be completely stupid otherwise.

Look at some of the uproar over Goro. Now multiply it by four.

NRS wouldn't give themselves such bad publicity. Every major journalist would jump on them, because 4 entire characters is an unprecedented level of disc-locked content. There's no way what you're suggesting is the case.

I'm getting only the classic edition for PS3 with Goro. Can't say I'm sad knowing the KE have nothing to offer. On the other hand, it is kinda upsetting. I expected better from them.

Everything they have presented to us in the 7 months is aimed at casuals. Everything. But I'll be gladly proven wrong at release.

I think I'll just pre-order the regular version that comes with Goro on PS4, and just wait to see what the 4 DLC characters are.
I don't care to ever get a season pass without knowing what I'm getting first.

Almost every game release is aimed at casuals. Mortal Kombat especially, when it comes to fighting games.

You can always pre-order whichever special edition you want to be safe from Amazon just in case on top of your other pre-order. Then when news drops on the Kombat Pass, make the call from there based on what suits your needs best.

Would just hate if for some reason the KE you want sells out, and you really wanted every part of it badly enough.

No, no you are not.

I was waiting for the announcement of the special editions to get me to pre-order because there is absolutely no reason any sane person should pre-order the standard edition whatsoever! Holding back Goro is complete and utter bullshit. Especially when you consider the fans that are getting the 360/PS3 versions. WB is asking fans to have blind faith in a port they know nothing about just to unlock a character that should be available to all!

But as I was saying, I was waiting for the special editions to have something to entice me to pre-order so I don't get screwed out on the Goro promotion. I was hoping for one with a legitimate artbook and all four issues of the MKX comic along with the usual digital crap they put in them nowadays. But instead they went with a useless statue again that doesn't even have a functional purpose.

I really liked the last Kollector's Edition. The artbook was sufficient and the "statues" didn't seem a waste like the MKX ones because they were functional as bookends! I put them to good use holding up my game collection and they look awesome doing so. These MKX special editions really don't entice me at all.

This is the first time I may just wait for a cheaper "Komplete Edition" and that makes me sad as a fan I won't really get to enjoy the game until the end of the year. I don't like the way WB has tried to monetize Mortal Kombat at all with the release of MKX. The last MK game was handled far better in my opinion.
