The only thing weird so far from the Chapter 3 preview is that,

The thing is: they are clearly on an aztec background.
So, I'm thinking two things.
Or someone lived that long.
Or Kotal build a "New Tenochtitlan" on Outworld and Ferra/Torr were there too hanging out with Reptile, drinking from hearts and s#1t.
I didn't expect that to be Reptile. In fact, that character is very human (belly and arms exposed), it seems that he is wearing a mask.
So, I'm thinking two things.

I think it is Reptile; Its the shape of his head. Maybe theirs hope for him to be in the game or atleast explains what happens to him for the time being

So I guess it's safe to say that Ferra/Torr has some sort of connection to Kotal Kahn. Whether they're working for him in MKX or previously worked for him and went rogue.
Frost looks very basic, but I feel like it's not going to matter much. She's probably going to play a very small role. Nothing special. She exists in the comics to be removed from the lore, most likely.
I hate seeing Jax for obvious reasons. RACISM But no really... I do draw the line of dead returning characters somewhere and Jax is just beyond that line. There's no good reason to bring them all back. Jax isn't even that great of a character. But oh well... Probably best that I just accept it. At the very least, I hope it's the girl he is training that makes it into MKX and not him.
Very excited to see Reiko involved in the comic... Though it looks like he'll be in a position similar to Hsu Hao and Frost. Which is a little scary for us Reiko fans. At this point, I don't expect to see him in MKX - So I hope they at least let him live long enough for NRS to bring him back in a future game.
Also, interesting to see him holding Mileena like that. I guess he's a bit of a freak. *shrug* But while talking about Mileena, I will just die if they reveal she's going undercover as Kitana in the comics. It would be so perfect.
Fujin... I personally don't see it, but that seems to be the general response to that frame. So... I guess that's cool. I've got nothing against Fujin and I feel it is about time he made his presence known in the new timeline.
Definitely some interesting spoilers there. Though I'm more curious as to what happens to Sonya when she confronts Kotal Kahn. I really don't see her making it into MKX and I think that issue is going to either confirm or put an end to that feeling of mine.

How can it be Reptile when his kostume is gray and not green? It's impossible.

We've known this for months. Ferra/Torr's intro dialogue with Kotal revealed this.
It's him. I've read the comic. He looks a lot younger in it, and his hair reminds me of Smoke.
C'mon, really? You really expect them to kill off a major character in a comic most customers won't read? Sonya's death is main game story-type stuff.

I'm thinking both sub zeros are in game , but it wouldn't make sense to have two of the same characters unless bi Han ,learned how to control his dark side. Maybe that's why subzero say "we're tired of defending our innosence " when he fights scorpion .
