US Army >>> Tarkatan Army
All of the other realms fight with outdated weapons. Swords, spears & catapults. Sure they have monsters, but what is a Dragon going to do to a nuke?
Didn't Kano sell those same weapons to Shao Kahn's minions though, and/or teach them how to use them?
I love these Tremor fans that never played MKSF and just make up feats for characters they know nothing about
Not specifically talking about you Bruzzrad, just want to clear that up. I just mean Tremor fans in general.
I'm well aware he is capable of jack shiz. But I think he could be awesome if NRS would fix him up.
Just because he wasn't much in SF, doesn't mean that Tremor can't be made into a great fighting game character in MKX, much like Reptile, Ermac, Rain and Skarlet who all started off as either joke, glitch or secret characters.
Ummmm....Off topic but if Tremor does make it I hope his fighting style is Hung Gar or Mantis
If you get that reference you are awesome
Ummmm....
P00p 3D era fighting styles?
In an alternative timeline, sure. Could be cool.
Enough with the alternate timelines bullshit, please. It's a stupid, unproven cosmology/physics theory that ruined so many great concepts in both literature and film. What is an alternate universe? Could an atom from the infinite numbers of space atoms in the universe be slightly different in an alternate universe? Could someone at one point in time have said "a" instead of "o" in an alternate universe? The possibilities are endless. We already have an infinite universe, as far as we can understand it. Let's leave it like that. Don't f*** up Mortal Kombat.
I'd like to play a MK game where I can see the story from the perspective of the "so called" bad guys. Let's just say that you are the closest thing to a god (Shao Kahn, Quan Chi) and you are aware that the Elder Goods have lied for the last thousands of years, they were not the ones to create the universe and the planets. They are only the current rulers the known physical world and are incredibly powerful, drawing their power from worshipers. They have an unjust system of deciding who goes to Heaven and mercilessly condemn souls to eternal Hell.
As Shao Kahn or Quan Chi, having lived for thousands of years, understanding that life is meaningless and it's the souls, not the flesh, that live forever, why would you restrain yourself from killing? It is Raiden who values the body of mortals too much, but instead keeps them trapped in a lie about their origins and their gods. What if the antagonists are right? They only wish to expose the Elder Gods for who they really are, hybrid dragons who have reached a higher level of existence.
Sure, Shao Kahn, Quan Chi or Daegon would resort to killing, hurting and damaging bodies in the process, this thousands of years war with the Elder Gods. You can't just sit around every 5 minutes explaining to a new hero that his gods are fake and are actually the evil entities. But they wouldn't actually harm the souls of people, those which are eternal. They could give life back to all who died after the war is over and the Elder Gods are finally defeated. They could give another chance at life to all souls in the Netherealm, forced to reside there with demons and monsters even though they don't deserve to be punished forever for finite sins.
