Guest Characters, Yay or Neigh?

Should guest characters be in MK10?

See, Freddy doesn't fit in but he made it. So therefore, ANYONE can make it in.

And how does a serial killer "not fit" a game that revolves entirely around killing people while a cheerleader does? That's like Charlie Manson eating Froot Loops on your front porch.

I'm not crazy about Kratos but compare him and Freddy to your candy land stripper zombie killer.. See they fit into Mortal Kombat and she doesn't. They're legends in their own right and have mythology and could easily fit into the realms of the Mortal Kombat.

As a side note, I personally geeked out when Freddy was first announced along with MK3 Sub-Zero. What's ironic is a week before they announced that skin I sent an email to Netherrealm begging for an unmasked scarred Sub-Zero skin. Its unlikely they listened to me alone but I can't deny how coincidental it was.

I've been holding this back for 2 years, but it's time to let it out...

Nasty_Freak is out of touch with what Mortal Kombat truly is. The fact that he blatantly stated that this Juliet Starling chick or whoever it is is a better fit than a slasher film icon shows you just how out of touch he really is. Has N_F even watched the Nightmare on Elm Street films? I've only seen ONE of those films (Dream Warriors), and even I know who's the stronger fit for MK! What's next? Dora the Explorer is better than Bugs Bunny?

Even though MK fans would have rather had Tremor in MK9 rather than Freddy, Tremor wouldn't have added any extra sales, MK fans will be buying the game regardless. But when they have someone like Freddy as a guest character you get Freddy and Horror Movie fans buying the game just to place as there favorite horror icon. Thus boosting sales. WB is business, a very profiting business, that is looking for profit sales and nothing more. Freddy was a huge success as far as sales go, so we will always get guest characters from now on. They will be big IP characters, preferably already owned by WB. Expect to see an exclusive guest character for both Xbox and Playstation this time as well as a shared guest character on all systems.

Guest characters being considered are: Spawn, Sweet Tooth (Playstation) Fulgore (Xbox) and possibly Kratos again.

Well, he knows what MK is about. But he only cares about female characters. So obviously he's going to be extremely biased about any female.

Again, ANYONE can be in the MK game.

I didn't want Freddy in the game because he doesn't have his own game (except that old lame one in old console).

All guest characters should at least have their own game first before being in other games.

I am all for having guests again. I would like to see kratos again done right this damn time though. An guys hop off NF. He can want who ever he wants.
 
Kratos will not be back. He was only in as a selling point. There won't be much of a selling point if people have already played as in him MK9.

Should there be guest characters? No. But will there be? Yes.
