Guest Characters, Yay or Neigh?

At the very least, that guest shit should be relegated to DLC, so that we have the choice to get the compatibility pack and be done with it.
Either that, or they can patch the compatibility pack into an update.
You know, after they buff and nerf characters that don't need to be nerfed or buffed, but people constantly b**** about them, so NRS patches it.

I have two speculations over guest characters
1. The Xbox One exclusive character will be from Killer Instinct - Ed Boon and Lobb were Tweeting each other recently and I think Boon said something like "Can't wait to see Killer Instinct Round 2
" or something like that. PS4 exclusive character will probably be the dude from Infamous
2. Its pretty obvious who the guest DLC character will be - The New Nightmare on Elm Street movie came out about a year or so before MK2011. Guess what comes out next year? Friday The 13th. Yup, Jason Vorhees will be your guest DLC character.

Infamous doesn't have gore iirc.
More than likely it'll be Sweet Tooth. Boon (I think it was Boon, either him or Jaffe) mentioned how Sweety was considered for MK9. And Sony HAS to have a Twisted Metal game in the works. It's one of their move well recognized franchises.

I heard the Twisted Metal guy is taking a break from Twisted Metal. People complained he put too much focus on multiplayer and not enough on single player.
when I played the last one, the multiplayer felt so smooth and good on the fingers. Too bad the game only sold like 300,000 something copies. It did terribly.

I might sound mean here, so I apologize in advance. Here's my answer:
I, personally, wouldn't mind a guest character. Everyone else, seems like it's a no.
Another fansite I go on blew up like crazy with a bunch of immaturity over one measly guest character. I was so shocked to see how many crying babies there were just because this character was announced to be the last DLC for Mortal Kombat 2011. Then there were the whole, "If anyone plays Freddie against me online, I'm just going to immediately quit" and that downright pissed me off.
If people are so uptight about one guest character, and I do mean one guest character, then why bother giving a fan base a little gift or whatever? And granted, I shouldn't base every single fan based on one site, but I mean, how can you be so ridiculously immature over people liking the fact that this guest was playable? People were literally saying to others that they're not a true Mortal Kombat fan if they were to like Freddy. How in the world can you base how much of a fan they are over who they like and don't like?
Seriously, I would definitely like to have another guest character. I don't mind it, but I just cannot let go of how idiotic so many people were back in 2011 when Freddy was announced. That was just downright pathetic.

Sadly, much of the video game demographics are not known for their maturity. Go to any of the larger video game-related communities, and you'll easily find someone who flip his/her wig over anything.

But having Sadira in... You know, they had a XboxOne to play for a little bit at a mall in the city one time. They had Killer Instinct as their demo game. Playing as Sadira, I wouldn't mind actually having her be the character they choose from that game to make a guest appearance.
