What are you listening to?

TJR keeps introducing awesome new bands to me :_wink:

Anyway, I saw this in some girl's playlist today. I used to listen to these guys when I was 12, really enjoyed their classical elements...

those PIG songs were pretty cool you posted. I must have heard the not so good songs before when I first gave PIG a listen. The ones that were just bass and moaning type vocals.

But those were great and I want to hear more. Reminds me of KMFDM in a way.
(actually heard about PIG through KMFDM)

I probably posted this (actually I remember every song I posted and I never posted this...)

One meatball
Without the gravy
One meatball
Or nothing at all
One meatball
Without the gravy
One meatball
Or nothing at all.....
Oh fairest bullet
Of the bullet race
How sweet thou art
And what taste
Oh my sweet lard
I see you make haste
Your fists are looking full
And there's blood on your face
Where's the bread?
Down the hall
You get no bread with one meatball
We belong toghether
Like bacon and ham
We belong together
Like fakin' and sham
Ol' daddy wolf
He does the cuttin'
Put a weasel in the coop
That devil left nuttin'
Break the bread
Bicker and braw
Stir don't shake- your my highball
I've wrung every drop
From the truth that comes out of me
Milked you dry on lies and dishonesty
There's a stain on the shine
A nail for each crime
Down home delicious
Honed down vicious
Vultures lying in wait with the guilt
By a hot wet river laden with silt
There's many a slip.....
....Between cup and a lip
Down in the pig iron
With the shaven raven
Dragged kichin' and screamin' told.....
...."You ain't worth savin'"
The light of this life
Is a stanley knife
I've bled myself dry
I'm my own parasite
Where's the bread?
Down the hall
You get no bread with one meatball
My heroine is heartbreak
She made me sweat fule for my funeral pyre
A foul belle she's fould mouthed
Fingered on the trigger
Trigger on the lip
Where's the bread?
Down the hall
You get no bread with one meatball
If you get to heaven before I do make a little hole
And pull me through

Or this song...

I never thought that it would come to this
The spike the spoon the darkening room
Holed up in my mecca of misery - motel hell
Dancing for the drunken, diseased and the doomed
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/p/pig/hot_hole.html ]
*I never dreamed it would come to this
I never dreamed it would come to this
I never dreamed it would come to this
I never dreamed it would come to this
Hot hole!
Hot hole!
Hot hole!
Hot hole!

I never thought I would confide in you
Suckled as I am by the righteous roots of envy
And I never thought that it would ever ring true
The more you help me the more I hate you

*Repeat

I never dreamed it would come to this
I never dreamed I'd confide in you
I never thought that it would ever ring true
That you could hurt me the way I wanna hurt you
I never dreamed it would come to this
I never dreamed it would it would come to this
Hot hole!
Hot hole!
Hot hole!
Hot hole!

I never dreamed it would come to this
I never dreamed it would come to this
I never dreamed it would come to this
I never dreamed it would come to this

@NS

Static X's first album has always been a personal favorite of mine. Not really into them as band alltogether, but they had a few good hits off the first record in my opinion

also, for Spine Ripper

hate to break it to you, but your favorite band are major riff thieves.

theres a shitstorm in the comment section over who created it first, and how dave wrote the riff in his mothers womb or some shit. But I'm just going by the release date and assume child saint came up with it first. Oh well, vocals suck in child saint version, but the slower guitars are better in my opinion.

Both good songs.
