These Hackers need to be treated as act of terrism! And be treated this act as of Treason! They shall be caught and excuted with FATALITY's they could never seem possible even to MK Standards!

While the hackers certainly bear responsibility for their actions, if these latest revelations are true I am even more disappointed with Sony then before. They were responsible for operating a flawed, vulnerable network, and as a result, some criminals were able to download free content. Instead of coming up with a fix for this first, Sony decided to take their whole system down, punishing all of the legit users and subscribers because they were concerned about losing a couple of dollars to people downloading free games.

What makes things even worse, is their statement from last week saying the network would be down only a day or two. Either they were lying and they knew it would be down for much longer, or they are so completely incompetent that they had (and have) no idea what they are doing.

I'm going to give it a couple of more days before seriously considering buying an xbox (which is a huge hassle since my TE stick is for the pse, which means I'd have to buy another one of those soon) if Sony cannot at least release an intelligent message with some information about when the network is restored.

Xbox was down for 2 weeks back in 2008. Did you see people going.. "Fudge microsoft, I'm going to sony." ?

if you SERIOUSLY can't wait until the PSN is back up, then all hope is loss for you. Just quit your job go into a basement, and play until you die.

Same here. I don't particularly enjoy the idea of jumping ship and giving Microsoft sixty bucks only for this to happen to them next week.

My life is too short to wait for Sony to get it's act together. If future actions are predicted by past performance, it could be weeks or months before they restore functionality. I'm sure many lesser players such as yourself have no problem playing vs the computer, but I'll be taking off for Vegas in less then three weeks for the PDP tournament and I need to get more playtime vs good players.

Is that seriously how you speak in real life, or are you just trying to sound smart? If you're going to try and come off as a genius, you should learn to check for grammatical errors.

Oh god... All you come here to do is get in fights. You knew exactly what kind of response you were looking for when you said you wished it was down for a month. Don't act like the attack was unwarranted. Please leave if all you are going to do is cause trouble..

u hope for the psn to be down for a solid month and expect ppl to applaud u for it lmfao, DCP had every right in saying that u will still suck for wishing that on ps3 users. say hello to KING JAMES for me when u get back to the 16th century cause you're clearly a troll from the past lol.
