What was the worse injury you've ever had?

I've had a lot of em unfortunately, but I'll try to narrow em down to three:

1) I was playing football and we were down by 10 with about 5 seconds left in the game. Instead of the coach letting us take a knee and calling it a game he decides to call a passing play. So we call the play, and I see the pass coming to me. Well, there was alot of trash-talking (not by me of course :) ) and the safety on the other team was the main one talking. I catch the pass and.. well, that's all I remember lol. I ended up getting a Grade II concussion (I think it was Grade II, see?!?!). I woke up around people looking over at me and I was like wth?

2) I was in middle school and we were playing basketball after school. Well, this kid about 2 grades down from me is guarding me. He's about 5'9 and 100 something pounds. I shake him off and get the ball. I turn around and shoot and, no kidding aside, I see him running towards me in slow motion. He jumps on me about 2 seconds after I shoot and lands cleanly on me. I ended up with a grade 2 ankle sprain (how it wasn't worse idk) and ended up missing some of the football season.

3) We were playing football (surprise, surprise) in a metal fenced playground. The fences weren't in the best condition and the people we were playing against were kinda dirty (just a little). I got pushed into the fence and it just happened that there was a twisted piece of metal were my hand was. It dug near my knuckle and left a big cut into my skin; after we got the metal out, there was so much blood on my knuckle that one of the guys threw up. It left an awesome scar on my hand though, and we won!

Those are some of mine; how about you guys?

One time when I was 6 I was running around the house acting like a retard and I was shaking my head all over the place. While I was doing that, I accidentally slammed my forehead against the side of a filing cabinet and it made a huge entry wound in my forehead exposing my brains, and blood was dripping from my head and the blood stained the carpet permanently but we eventually replaced the carpet. The opening was patched with flesh glue and the scar is still on my forehead.

Another time when I was about 11 I was hitting plastic baseballs with a baseball bat and when I hit the ball, I went to the place it landed to get it. When I bent down to grab it, a rusty nail impaled my knee and I was screaming loud and hard, it was close to getting to my Artery and if it did, I would be dead in seconds.

And another time, I can't remember very well, all I remember is I stepped on something sharp and somehow, the blood stained my shorts and got all over my legs.

And one last time, I was snowboarding outside and doing jumps off of a small slope. When I rode off of it, the snowboard went up and hit me on the back of the head. I was brought inside and my vision was messed up and blurry and the back of my head was bleeding. My mom tried to ask me questions about my vision to see if I had a concussion like how many fingers am I holding up etc. I didn't have a Concussion but I was close to having one. After that I decided to put a hat on and the blood coming from the back of my head was staining the hat and I think it was my dad's hat so he got mad about it lol.

Over a female? SMH.

I was dragged across the street by a dog when I was 8. Had to get stitches in my knee. Both knees, elbows and my spine have pain during the winter and on some rainy days.

Ouch, that sounds terrible

@Aldo: ikr, some people seem to forget that there's plenty of females in the world other than the ones standing in front of you.

@10902SMOKE22234, you're lucky you didn't get a concussion; I've had three of em, not only do you feel confused, but the after effects are.... unpleasant to say the least.

I have had 3 broken bones in the past 6 years( every two years i get a broken bone it seems) First, i broke my knuckle playing hockey; i was checked into the boards from behind and to protect my self i put my hands up. Second, I broke my leg playing hockey; i slipped and fell awkwardly i guess you can say my leg buckled beneath me and i collapsed on top of it. Third, i broke my ankle playing hockey; i slid into the boards after being tripped on a break away and i ended up getting surgery with 7 screws. Im pretty beat up. Im only 19, so im sure there will be more broken bones coming. Oh, and i retired from hockey lol

Lol, thats like one of the few downsides to sports: injuries. I had so much fun playing till I got the injuries; concussions, sprains, soreness, etc. After the second concussion I pretty much didn't have a choice but to quit the team. :(

I never had a bad injury, but I got injured two weeks ago at a track meet. I was running in the one mile race and I was in 2nd place the WHOLE time till the 2nd lap. I fell on my knee. When I run, I tend not to pick up my legs so I drag them. I finished last place and at finsihed 06:20. I had a big ass nasty wound my knee and a big ass bump on my knee along with the wound. I kouldnt walk right. I was limping. It got better in a week. Well, only bekause I went dancing and totally ingored my knee and forgot about it and now its better.

And shockingly, this is wound was the wrost I got in my life.

I been thru depression over a female, so wasn't worth it. It isn't worth fighting over a female. If you want her, shit **** it, try to take her. If she goes to him, then it shows she lied about her feelings towards you, if she stayed with you, she is a keeper/

ACL/MLC/MINICUS Tear. All in one... worst injury ever.

Ouch, I saw a friend have a similar injury right in front of me; we had to help him off the field and when he found out later, he was just crying and crying; I felt real bad for him.

@Aldo: Exactly man, +rep for life lessons on TRMK :)

Hahaha, Nice picture dude

@Aldo: thanks man.

One time I was helping a music teacher carry her instruments into her room. There were little kids running around everywhere and she repeatedly told them to stop, but they didn't listen. We go to room, put the instruments in there, and just when I'm about to leave, this kid with, I swear, the biggest head comes running out of nowhere and spears me in my groin; talk about your Cage split punch, the kids had no idea what happened and continued to run around while I was catching my breath; as for the music teacher, she was laughing -_-
That same day I had football practice...

I actually blew up in a car. There was so much impact the doors doors could not close. I had 3rd,2nd,and 1st degree burns all over my body. I basically blew the skin off of my face. I had to get Skin Grafts on some parts of my body. They put some type of Shark Skin on other parts of my body to. Lucky my faced healed completely with no scars. But I have a couple pretty big scars on my body. My battle Wounds.LoL. You should of seen me when I was burnt I looked like Yoda and the worst part about getting burnt in the face is healing. Your face gets completely dry with blisters and you can littlery feel and hear your face crack. It was the most uncomfortable feeling. I hate thinking about it.

Ouch Jade and JSOOGZ, those are some bad injuries.

For me it was when I was in New York and cousin slammed the car door down on my finger without looking. I ended up with 8 stiches, and my finger was almost chopped off all the way. But it's still there.

OK, now for a really embarrasing story.
When I was only a few months old, my older sister was changing my diapers.
As she turned around to get a new diaper, I refused to lay still and fell off the table. (Yep, one of my first experiments in life was to check out that thing called gravity.)
Fortunatly I didn't break my neck or back, unfortunatly I broke my left knee.
The doctor said that there was a big chance that I would feel the effects from that yamakazi dive later in life.
This is sadly true, my left knee ocassionaly makes this cracking sound whenever I squat down. And when I run, I sometimes feel a sting.
Ain't gravity fun ?

Ouch, thats definitely the first baby injury I've heard of. I hope you aren't playing any sports. Some football players hear that knee crack and they'll start coming up with ideas, mostly bad

My Injury was when i started running through a classroom, i ended up falling on a table and busted my lip open. i had stitches in my lip for about 2 weeks.

My other injury was when i was walking on the bus and some dumbass idiot tripped me and i ended up busting my knee cap on the metal part of the bus seat and that happened in 2010 and i still feel pain
