Screw VS mode. If a second player wants to play, he/she can do so the old-fashioned way; by pressing Start.

Dude, lol you complain about Nasty Freak's ideas being over the top, yet you're stuck in this fantasy that it's still the 90's.

Doesn't MK9 have versus mode under the Two Player menu?

The 90s MK games have always been better. Certainly better than what NF is calling for. Trevor Goddard will roll in his grave at NF's shit.

@Tarkatan - Player 2 isn't what I'm talking about.
@Taj - I'm talking more about single-player versus mode, rather than going up the whole ladder mode, just for a quick match.

I know that MK9 had training mode, but that isn't the same.

Like Mikey Palmice said, I'm talking more about 1 vs CPU Versus Mode like Injustice had.
 
Ah, I don't know shit about Injustice so I assumed Versus Mode was the same as every other fighting game. Yeah sure add this.
 
I like the KAF. Of course not the special moves and going through all the moves. But other than that, I like it. Creating my own kharacter in Mortal Kombat was fun for me when I was younger. Made my imagination go crazy.

I didn't like all the stuff that kame along with Kreate-A-Fighter, which included the Kreate-A-Fatality.
Turrible.

Let's give everyone the same option for fatalities, without being character specific.

At first, I thought it was cool. Now that i look back at it, I hate it. I wanted to see some cool fatalities for Shinnok.

I try not to let Liu Kang's death get to me. I'm just happy he's playable in the game.

Yeah, hopefully they give the side characters a better story, rather than just slaves. I always thought Baraka was a ruthless dude who was hard to beat. But that changed.
 
The best idea for "create" anything would be for us to be able to customize the appearance of already existing characters.

Maybe put a hood on Reptile, or some shoulder pads on Mileena.

Although if they went with being able to make your own version of say Liu Kang, or Sektor, or Scorpion. I wonder what the limits should be. I really don't want to fight Sonya in a Dominatrix suit just because Nasty Freak is running around online.

So some limitations perhaps? can't put a ninja hood on someone like Cage for example.
 
How about putting a brown bag over Mileena's head? Because she is nothing more than a brown-bag slut!

I wouldn't be against slight customization, like KI. but I would prefer NRS to just have a good amount of alt costumes for EVERY character. I think a minimum of 3-4 costumes per character would be awesome. They can have a couple pre-order costumes here and there, but I'd like it if they were most, if not all, unlockable in-game.

Imagine being able to pick between the two new costumes for each character in MK10, and all of their classics. With scorpion... MK2, UMK3, MK4, MKDA, MKD, MK9, etc. It would be awesome and not very hard to implement.

and... PLEASE GIVE EVERYONE EQUAL JUSTICE. I feel bad for the Sheeva mains out there that have only 2 costumes.
 
I doubt they'll do it.
They showed with Injustice that they don't give a shit about non spotlight characters.

DLC characters didn't even get Hero Card decals, let alone alts.
