If we are talking about Arcades then it would have to be:MK1 and UMK3 (tied) for me! The original was slow... but damn it felt so real back in the Arcade days especially when it first came out. Mk2 was alright... MK3 SUCKED BALLS without Scorpion, Reptile, Classic Subby Wubby and Kitana but then they fixed that in UMK3!

But if we are also including console and PC based MK's then I would have to say MK1 and MK Trilogy (BOTH for the PC,) tied for me! The PC versions of this game out did the console ports ANY DAYYYYYYYYYY! The only console system that could kind of (and thats a BIG "kind of") come close to the PC port was the PSX version of MK Trilogy... Except for the fact it had ridiculous LOADING TIMES and a bit choppy sprites/shadow/blood... but oh well.... it did come "close"! And the best thing about the PC version of MK T was that you could use a custom soundtrack! Just start the game up with the actual game disc and then remove it and use any other mixed cd you'd like. Plus you could change around the graphics, sfx, AND text/fonts with certain game editors.... hahah, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, the good old days!

Any whoot, I cant wait for Tuesday! Yay, just one more day away and my MK9 will start to collect dust as I play MK:AK untill MK10 (MKX) is released! Muhahahha, happy fatalities everyone! And dont forget to add me up on PSN for some good old fashioned KOMBAT!

Not everyone is begging for MKT, just people who want MOAR CHARACTERS and/or those too young to remember what an arcade MK game was like.
 
This weekend I was playing UMK3 on my sister's DS, and I remembered how f***ing awesome it is. So, for me it's a tie between MK9 and UMK3. MK2 is also really good.
 
mk2 is my favorite sprite mk but mk9 is my favorite 2d one.

mk2 will always be special to me it was one of the first games i ever played . it was the first game i looked forward to playing when i was young
