As much as I'm not a fan of Trash's posts, he does have a point. That you have at least 27 users wanting Sareena over the other female characters.

And if you're judging what people on other sites are saying, you have TRMK saying that 27 users out of 56 that voted wants Sareena to become playable. If you have other sites doing the same thing here, compare what they want to this site and boom.

My point still stands that prior to MKX coving out, no one gave 2 flying turds for Sareena.
Now, suddenly, people are jumping on the Sareena bandwagon.
Plus, that poll only has the 4 remaining female MK characters that even have the slightest chance of ever selling as DLC.

Also, 46 people on this site want Fujin in, compared to the 36 that wanted Reiko in and the 34 that wanted Havik in.

By process of elimination, if Ed is telling the truth about Rain not being in as repeated DLC, as he stated a while ago, Fujin jumps to #1 on 1 of those polls (gamefaqs) and #3 on the other poll (eventhubs).
Frost sure as hell isn't as likely as DLC (sorry Miscura), so that bumps him up to #2, after Noob Saibot, and according to TRMK he's the #1 requested character.
 
Who is saying that she's "more requested" than Fujin? No one here. Some such as myself are basically saying that Fujin is not THE highly requested character. There can be multiple wants for this... and to be honest, who the hell cares who's more wanted than the other.

And sorry, I don't see that Fujin is "required" to be in this next pack in my perspective. I neither like nor dislike this character. It's clearly up for the developers who they want in. I certainly don't care who they pick at this point.

And before anyone accuses me of being a "Sareena bandwagon fan" I voted for Frost. If Frost wasn't there, I'd vote for Sindel. I don't really like Sareena, but I can't sit here and lie and say that she's not a highly requested character, even if she's being requested right after X's release. To me it doesn't matter at this point, but no one here can'y deny that she IS one of a few that are highly requested.
 
My point was that the poll which [MENTION=12345]Tarkatan Trash[/MENTION] posted was created WAY after the game came out (September), which is true.
I also was just stating that Fujin is the most requested character, post-Kombat Pack 1 announcement (February), which is also true.

And to a degree, yeah, I care who's requested more, because that's likely who NRS will hear out and put in.
The squeaky wheel gets the oil, and people have wanted Tremor and Fujin in since MK9.
Fujin, also got screwed out of being in MK9 (as they had pre-recorded sound files for him), but that's a topic for another day.

That still doesn't negate anything that I previously said, which is what you replied to.

As for Sareena, she's getting some more requests now for KP2, but prior to MKX coming out, she didn't really have many (if any requests).

Prior to that, Sareena requests were pretty much absent or only requested by a small minority on Twitter.
 
I get your point, Commander, and I see what you're talking about. I'm disagree with Saint in thinking that Sareena is being more requested over Fujin since that's simply not true. But I've been saying is that she IS being highly requested, disregarding when fans started requesting her.

People can't deny that she's highly requested for the want for a female character, right next to Li Mei and Sindel.
 
Sareena

Variation 1 should involve her using her throwing daggers.

Variation 2 should involve her using her "Dragon Fang" short sword in the similar way Jason uses his machete in his "Slasher" Variation.

Variation 3 should involve her using demonic attacks with spells and magic.
 
I'm interested in KP2. I've slightly started playing some MKX again after a long hiatus. The KP2 will give me a reason to get properly back into the game and start playing it some more. ^^

Would love to see Smoke, Sareena and Rain, but I know their chances aren't all that high. However, those are the ones I would love to see, along with Reiko, though again, I know his chances are pretty low as well.
 
I still have interest in it and will purchase it, however -- After it was all but confirmed that the silhouette to the far left in Boon's teaser image is most definitely Baraka and not Noob Saibot my hype for it went drastically down. Who knows though, they could just be place holders and will have little to no relevance once we officially know who the 4 kharacters are.
 
They need to reveal these characters. Teasing silhouettes a month+ ago is a way to piss people off, not get them excited.

This. Seriously.

At least by knowing what the 4 characters are I can decide whether or not I want to buy them, or instead just put those $30 towards something else like either Doom or Far Cry Primal.
 
No real reason to. They want people to get hype when it's around the time to buy it. Reason the KP1 chars were revealed so soon was because they wanted to sell season passes
 
Hype is subjective.
The less and less I hear of it, the more I lose hype.
I'll gain hype again, once something concrete is revealed.
Until then, meh.
 
The fact that SF5 is just around the corner (with a konfirmed release date to go with it) is one thing that is killing the KP2 hype.

Which is exactly what I said. They don't care how you feel about it now because you can't buy it right now. When it's around the corner is when they want you to shit your pants and impulse buy

That's the thing, though.
SFV has a definite date, whereas KP2 release date is still in "???" status.
The marketing for this game has been completely terrible, though, so it doesn't really surprise me.
Not to mention that other big AAA games like Doom and Uncharted 4 also at least have a definite time-frame by when they should be out.
Give me some definite info or a timeframe, otherwise, it's as good as not being announced.
For how long did the whole PS3 / 360 port debacle go on, without a definite release date or time frame for it?
Where are those ports now?
That's how serious I take something without a release date.
I take a game or DLC without a definite release date or time-frame about as seriously as I take vaporware.
