Who likes Tanya?

Who like Tanya in MK4

why i missed this topic! i'am unforgivable!
tanya is my favourite girl in all mk! she's pretty, single (poor lovers of kitana) and evil and in mk4 i have never known why! if someone know, can he tell me please!?
in mkd, tanya is pretty, powerful (1,1,2,1,1,2 does more than 30% damage) and simple to master but she lacks charism!
 
Tanya is an easy to play character in Mortal Kombat 4 with easy moves, nice fatalities and an innocent exterior that fools people into thinking she is no harm. Her goal in the game is like any other character's goal, to take the power all for himself and she succeeded in Mortal Kombat: Deception by defeating Onaga when no one could. She is smart and tricky because she was planning onto defeating the Dragon King all along as revenge for inslaving her and threatening her to death if she doesn't assist him. Her scary look in Mortal Kombat Deception and Armageddon makes her more and more evil and I believe that she deserves to be a classis Mortal Kombat character because she was going to appear as a playable character in Mortal Kombat II, but instead they did not include her and left her as scrap until Ed Boon realized that he should include her in Mortal Kombat 4 instead of Kitana. I like her and I would love to see in as a playable or non-playable character in Mortal Kombat 9.
 
My like and dislike of characters almost never depends on how well they play. This is because every character plays very differently from game to game. I have always despised her character. Like several of the MK4 characters, she was a last-minute creation to replace Kitana (who was originally slated for MK4) and is under-developed an overall poor character design.

I hate her and would be perfectly happy to never see her return. Of course, I've said the same about Nightwolf and Stryker and they made returns so...
 
Sorry to bump this old thread up. I just found it.

As I am one of the very minority who LOVES Tanya, I voted, I liked her the first time I played her in MK4. Which is the fact. She suddenly came into picture in MK4, and became the first kharacter I beat the arcade without ever losing any round. Super easy to use, has power to go along, and the look that can deceive anyone. She quickly de-throned then my favorite Scorpion, and became my best/favorite kharacter still to this day. I was hoping for her return, but due to all these hatred, she didn't get any chance until MKD, which I had used her for ALL fighting and she was only kharacter I could score any wins on on-line games. It's a pity most people hate her, so, us Tanya fans can't enjoy the game 100% WITHOUT our favorite/best character. Hopefully, she makes it in on MKX.
 
Tanya is my favorite character in Mortal Kombat.
Evidently, with the first page, she wasn't loved by the majority.
But her style of fighting and Judas-type behavior was what made me gain interest in her in the first place.
Not to mention her color, and choice of clothing.
I mained her in MKD, MKA, and in MK4, and, hopefully, will main her again in MKX.
Gotta love wifey.
 
I love to play as Tanya and would love her to be known as the "Lorena Bobbitt" of MK. Especially after seeing her thigh rip fatality from MKD. She'd be "Lorena Bobbit" on male characters and then shove the organ in their mouths to shut them up from screaming and then break their necks. But for females, that same fatality input would be the same thigh rip fatality from MKD but only shoved in the mouth and then break their necks.

Jade should be known as the "female Vlad the Impaler".

Mileena should be known as a "Maneater" where she'd eat up a guy from crotch to face.

All the private parts would be censored anyways. I'd just show blood dripping down the legs while the camera is not focused on the mutilated area. ;)

Lorena Bobbitt = automatic AO territory. WB has far too much money to lose with that.

She is terrible and serves no point in the story. Her yellow outfit threw me off when I first saw her, I thought she was Shirai Ryu. But nope, some lame Edenian woman working as Quan Chi's henchwoman.
 
From a story standpoint, super lame

From a gameplay standpoint... super lame

However from a character design standpoint, super ****ing lame
 
Im her biggest fan obviously, been anxiously waiting for them to reveal her already but im losing my hopes up each & every day cuz so far not a little bit of clue of her being in game which is so unfair!

Not if all acts are censored. At least it shouldn't be AO. Manhunt 2 censored their stuff and that's why they survived making the game sell out in public.

I liked her gameplay in MK4, she was a lot of fun to play as... I also digged the boomerang. Story wise she had an interesting role in the plot... Overall I'd welcome her back in MKX, although I wouldn't be disappointed if she didn't make the cut tbh.
 
For Tanya to become more relevant they need to focus on her more. Not to be a Main character but enough for us to care...same goes with all Supporting characters
