Who do YOU want for DLC?

What character do you want as DLC?

Starkiller from Star Wars would be great because in his game he like to overkill things so it would be a perfect fit to add him. I have ideas for his fatalities and babalities. I even have a stage set up for him including three stage fatalities for him as well!

I want khameleon to be dlc she's my favorite character throughout the whole series and she's amazing and needs to be in the game not just as cameo like motaro
 
I actually truly believe that Khameleon has EVERYTHING to work as a fantastic character. She already has the looks: more original than her you can't get, she looks completely different from any other female, yet resembling a bit her Trilogy self. She already has the storyline and ties to other characters.

What she lacks though is a unique gameplay and her own moves but to be honest that's the least of her concerns, since NRS can easily make her unique: look at Smoke and Kenshi. Her chances to be DLC however are 0%.
 
Now that we have Rain, all I really want are just:

1. Unmasked SZ costume for Cyber Sub Zero
2. Boss fight against Motaro
3. Quan chi's MK4 costume
4. Cyber Smoke

In my opinion, brand new characters and post MK3 characters should come in the next MK.

Even if he was meant to be a drunkard in the beginning, he could have at least a wise appearance, as should be expected from a teacher, who has trained Liu Kang. I am only complaining about the useless and fully overdrawn fart and vomit parts they have given to him. In addition, even as a drunkard he is still able to do amazing drunken Kung-Fu styled moves furthermore he is able to fight with his staff, even if he is drunk. But no, they couldn't let it got they would rather give him moves containing farts and vomiting trying to make a funny character out of him and taking away his wise teacher like appearance.

I have to admit, I like his depiction as a drunkard, because it goes away from the stereotype of a material arts teacher who is only strict and wise. Bo Rai Cho enjoys his life, shown by his usual state of being drunk. However, that is OK; he is also a wise teacher who can take things seriously when they have to be taken seriously. Nevertheless, this whole concept has been ruined by trying to being funny. I am sorry but I can't accept this. Therefore, I am hoping that when Bo Rai Cho comes out in MK 10 he will be redeemed. NRS has shown us, that they actually can redeem characters. Just take Stryker as an example. Therefore being just a drunkard does not mean that someone can't take you seriously.

Is Khamelon already out of discussion? She was in the original MKT roster along with Chamelon. I think we will have to wait and see if she's coming out.

I am playing pessimistic here. Actually Khameleon and Motaro are the only Trilogy characters left from this game but still have cameo appearances in the story mode. Khameleon as a background character in the tournament and Motaro killed by Raiden.

Also, unbelievably, they left her out of Armageddon even though she was mentioned in Reptile's old card and they added her because we at the time demanded her. I simply don't get NRS choices to be honest, they have basically a character ready to be polished and they still don't take the chance.

The characters from the original Trilogy left out from MK9 have 0% chances to be included :(

- Motaro: waste of potential, if they ever release a Ultimate Mortal Kombat with all DLC included in the CD, they MUST include Motaro, I don't even care if he's playable.

- Chameleon: already denied by Boon when a kid sent him a cute picture he had made of Chameleon,, his favourite character. Why does Boon believe that a new "ninja" wouldn't be popular as DLC? Just give him his own moves (preferably chameleon-inspired: see Bloody Roar 2's Buzusima character) and gameplay and he'll be a damn good addition to this game.

- Khameleon: MK females' fanbase wouldn't mind Khameleon and again she has already was a colour swapped character (a grey Kitana) and she already has a storyline and a fantastic design.

- Tremor: meant to be in Trilogy. Again, another "ninja", I'm pretty sure he'd be quite popular as DLC. Already has the storyline, a great concept, a great possible move-set with a specific element, all he lack is a original design, but that's of no concern.

- Hornbuckle and Blaze: these two would be great additions, I actually thought that Stunt Man would be Hornbuckle, I don't even think NRS would have much work with him and Blaze already has everything to be polished correctly.

Why add MK4, Deadly Alliance and Deception character when we already have so many characters from the original 3 games to be released? They even released Skarlet! However, I am sure they won't come back, maybe Tremor and Blaze in the next games, but the rest are goners.

Khameleon did not appear in the background, was just generic female ninja in gray outfit. Same as the generic male ninja smoke-like character that also appeared in story mode.

Khameleon hasn't a cameo in this game and Chameleon either.

Well, there's no reason they shouldn't be in MK9 as DLC. They are just as much a part of the MK trilogy as Rain was.
 
Ever played Trilogy? Khameleon was a generic grey female ninja too back then. If she's her or not, it shouldn't matter much since it was a grey UMK3 female ninja model exactly what Khameleon looked like.

Yep but with your logic then the generic gray ninja in the back was Smoke too, then we have 2 smokes in the story mode, because Smoke was a generic gray ninja back then....
Also using your logic the generic gray lin kuei cyborgs are all cyber smokes, we have like 10 cyber smokes in the whole story mode making cameos then...

Do you get my point? is not Khameleon.

No, he wasn't Smoke because Smoke never had a MK1 outifit in the first place.
And MK3 cyber-Smoke is blueish purple and not grey.

A UMK3 grey female ninja however is Khameleon. She even had a versus picture in Trilogy exactly like what she looked like in MK9 story mode, I see it more as a reference though.

In Raiden's vision of Smoke getting automated he looks like a generic gray cyborg not blue.
