Twisted Metal: Black. David Jaffe is a GOD for creating this game. God, this game rules, difficult as hell too. <3 it!

Now Im 50% through Sly Cooper 2: Band of thieves.
Shit's on like Donkey Kong, I love this Goddamn game.
Trying to beat all 3 before I go to bootcamp.. this should be fun.

I really dont understand why you hate nintendo because we know nothing about the wii U specs givin the fact nintendo has not released any hardware information but since they own most of the stock in Monith soft and ok'd xenoblade here in the states (thanks to operation rain fall ) there may be hope yet in jrpgs and thats something we all need more of since we got next to none this gen compared to the PS2 era.

I'm using my infallible precognition to come to the conclusion that the Wii U will suck, given Nintendo's current market strategy.

I don't think Nintendo is going to be much of a driving force in next-generation J-RPGs, or really in next-generation gaming overall. They play to a niche market with established IPs that have earned them consistent sales like Zelda, Mario, Metroid, and others that they've milked over the years. Nothing groundbreaking or particularly deep. I don't see them moving away from that, as that strategy of cheap, easy, and familiar gaming has sold them a lot of units. The Wii has sold more than the Xbox 360 and PS3 not because it's a better console, but because it has not only a price advantage, but the family-friendly gaming market cornered.

There are plenty of J-RPGs for the current consoles, but most of them don't make it over because they get panned so harshly in the West because they don't play like Dungeons & Dragons. Western audiences in general don't want RPGs where the game-play is largely just a test to get to the next psychology-heavy, often-confusing set piece cinematic, they want to be able to put baskets over NPCs' heads, rob them blind, and kill the town guards. Story, development, and completely novel (read: risky) settings and ideas need not be ingredients.

I read a great article a few months back about 'the death of the JRPG'. It was in GameInformer, and the writer explained that essentially, JRPGs have moved away from the big consoles onto platforms like the PSP/Vita and DS, as well as mobiles. Why? The cost of developing a AAA-tier game for either of the major consoles costs about as much as making a duo of blockbuster films. And when you're talking about a genre that's pretty risky in the best of times, nobody wants to do that.

Nintendo didn't originally have any desire to release xenoblade here in the states because of the whole selling well in the west scare but a group of fans put together an organization called Operation Rain Fall and demanded Nintendo of America release the game here in the states the petition was so big that even sites like IGN kotaku and even game informer took notice and in the end even Nintendo couldn't ignore the cries of the fans. Xenoblade is Confirmed to be coming to the states in April 2012 this proves that fans still want to play Jrpgs on consoles regardless what others may think

And? Your point? One game, one case scenario. For the record, I like JRPGs. But, I definitely think they're on the decline. Maybe in the future they'll make a resurgence in the way fighters have recently. Who knows.

I've been playying Super Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Assassin Creed Brotherhood. All for multiplayer purposes, all fun to play

It's not just one game if you take the time to look up Operation rain fall You'll see its many games that O.R.F is working hard to bring to the states but if we don't make our voices heard than we can't be surprised if we get nothing and if Xenoblade got the green light than it's a very high possibility than other games will as well.

I'm sure it'll revolutionize the industry. Working hard? O.K.

I was playing Monopoly Streets online and one idiot wouldn't click circle (PS3) to speed up going around the board so we had to watch the whole goddamn journey. I ****ing hate people like that.

Sly Cooper 3: Honor Among Thieves.
It's the last game of the HD trilogy that makes up Sly Cooper Collection.
I platinumed Sly 1 a few weeks ago, Sly 2 two days ago, and I'm sure to get this one as well.
Plus, these games are awesome!

Started DC Universe.

Some ******* already took Lady Death and some other ******* already took Purgatori so I am Lady Purgatori.

**** YEAH

WWE '12 (Fiancee bought it for Christmas with a gift card today), and White Knight Chronicles. So far, I'm a little disappointed with WKC.
