What DON'T you want to see in MK10?

So glad UjustGotCaged said something about the flesh being exposed, i dont like it either.. Always thought it was really fake and silly. I would thank you for that post if i knew how lol.

Uhh....

After everything silly or "fake" looking thing this series has given us, battle damage is far from being the worst. If anything it makes the experience more realistic.

Legendary-Scorpion & Scorch:

Yeah, Kobra is... a copy of Street Fighter's Ryu. Not interested either.

Kobra has more potential than most.
If they went with their original plan of making him a Ken ripoff then he would be an instant classic.

Complete with Hadouken, Shoryuken and Hurricane Kick (all with different names of course) he would be an incredibly unique character for MK's universe.

I suppose Kobra could be used well, but I don't see them ever doing it. He was never relevant in the series and I feel like his spot could be given to a more worthy character.

Whoever doesn't want stupid gimmicks... bleh. They're an inevitability. You can't actually get rid of them. Even the most balanced and technical fighters have gimmicks and given MK's accessibility, the gimmicks will definitely be there.

Midway should've been sued by Capcom for trademark infringement over the Kobra character.

I don't undestarnd why people is so hater to the generations after MK4, i've been a fan since always and i love either pre-MK4 characters as post-MK4 chars :)

Count me in among those who probably can't even name most of the characters introduced after MK4.
Let alone like any of them.

They were shit, but they still had potential.

Like Dairou. They completely dropped the ball with him. Instead of giving him badass traditional East Asian assassin weapons like chained Kamas and blow darts they decided to give him a leg fireball

Cause a lot of the post MK3 characters are garbage.

Many of them had little to no relevance to the story taking place around them. Others were just cheap clones of former characters who were more popular and relevant. And then there are the few who were essential to the plot for a brief amount of time, but were incredibly unpopular due to their design and background.

Most of them were just very uninspired.

I think avery character deserves a chance to shine, may be if they make 'em more interesting they'd work just fine. In my opinion, many fans are stuck with the classic characters leaving aside the other ones. I'm excited about getting new characters though, but i think there's others who deserve a chance :v

More than relevance to the story (I couldn't care less about MK's story), I do care about character personality.
I did play MK4 but I can't remember anything about Kai. Jarek I only recall being a Kano re-skin. Tanya was pretty weak. And I actualy thought Reiko was pretty cool (probably his ending made me like him), but seems like I'm the only one who thinks that way.

I'll agree on Dairou. His original concept had him being a bodyguard to Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, if I remember correctly. Instead, they associated him with stupid-ass Darrius.
