-When they say each ninja will come with their own original fatality, we already know they're talking about Toasty and Spine/head rip, but with Reptile they're talking about the head eating, and not the disappearing slice, right?
-For all of the people worrying about if these extra fatalities and alt costumes (and Kratos) as pre-orders only, they're almost guaranteed to appear on the Store for a price for those who didn't buy new or pre-order. No need to buy 3 copies of the game from different stores and returning them later (unless you really want to).
-I really don't like that Toasty fatality (one of a tinyful handful of fatalities that is iconic of MK) is not in the original game, and you have to buy it or preorder it to get it. I'm just getting a Kollector's Edition from one store, and buying the rest of the extra costumes/fatalities online. But these extra costs really add up to the overall buyer's cost of the game, and I really hope that there's not too much stuff that they will charge for. I hope they keep it simple, like SF4, and just add all of the character costumes and fatalities in bundles for better priced deals.
-At first I thought my prediction of Kratos being included in a pre-order or Kollector's Edition pack was wrong when I first read the news. I was sad thinking that Kratos was included in every game, and he would be on the main roster of 26. But now that I read it more clearly ("original purchasers" the key words), and read some posts, and I agree with Araknyd03. It is likely that Kratos will be available to EVERY one who buys MK on PS3, but not directly playable from the disc, but with the DLC unlock code included with the game. Similar to how The Signal DLC level for Alan Wake for Xbox 360 was available. Gamers who bought it new got the code for the level free, but anyone who bought the game used (like me) likely didn't get the code if it was used by the previous owner, so they would have to buy it online for $10 if they wanted it. This is what I think will happen with Kratos.
