Why not? This will more than likely be the ONLY game I play next year. I tend to get really deep into fighters and forget about every other game that comes out.

I work at Gamestop so I'll get the Tournament edition with my discount. The amazon will be the Kollector's edition because by then my Amazon Visa will have given me a $50 giftcard. Best Buy will be regular and I will trade that one in for sure. I am not too big of a Sub-Zero fan but I still have to have the costume and fatality.
 
reptile skin is a costume? what do they mean by skin? can i wear that costume? it doesnt list sizes. dont worry they'll have my size im not obese like most americans

Dude are you really that dense? when they mean character skin, they mean an alternate COSTUME for the character in the game.
 
First of all: I love Reptile's classic outfit! That's the Reptile I love and not a dumb lizard. You can see Reptile's eyes which are not human but more snake-alike. Great job! Scorpion and Sub-Zero will get the same outfit but of course yellow and blue. Scorpion will have white specter eyes and Subby's eyes will be as cold as possible.
This klassic ninja appearance is great. It combines MK1, MK2 and UMK3 outfits in one. The hood is from MK1. The colored torso looks like in MK2 and the legs are in a way like in UMK3. I am happy. If I had to choose a pre-order I would choose Reptile because of his MK9 outfit being very different from the classic one while Scorp and Subby being closer to their classic outfits. But of course I will buy DLCs which include every ninja classic design.

But this is the point where I am not content with MK. I know it is normal to sell stuff after selling the game since our consoles are connected to internet. New games are expensive enough and it's not possible to get a full version. I have the feeling that I am going to buy an undone game. They will add a lot of DLC which should be available on the disc from the beginning. Or are 70 bucks not enough to get a f**king alternative costume??

I hear you brother, I hear you... I loved the old school way of unlocking alternate costumes, hopefully i get the same experience this time around and hopefully they dont make every alternate costume DLC. I loved the feeling of accomplishment when you unlocked character's alternate costume from the krypt from the 3D games. Seeing that the krypt is back, i hope we get some awesome unlockables like alternate costumes and such. Also, i want some characters from the initial roster to be hidden at the beginning, so like deadly alliance and deception, we actually achieve something when we unlock them. Armageddon i had that feeling, but not to the same degree, and then DC Universe just killed it completely. I really hope they bring that same feeling back.
 
OMFG. Klassic skins for the Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile is a dream come true. I hope they do the same with Ermac.

I am really aiming toward buying Human Reptile, I have waited so long for this to happen. I really hope that they will have the other costumes for DLC. Can anyone confirm that?

Also, do you think they will give Reptile a new fighting stance along with the klassic skin?

I'm getting my TE edition MK 9 at GameStop, with Scorpion's Alt. and Klassic MK Fatality (hopefully they meant the "Toasty").


Am I the only one who Pre-Ordered Smackdown vs Raw 2010???
Doesn't anyone remember this same scenario with The Rock and Stone Cold???
My GameStop Pre-Order came with Stone Cold, and I got The Rock afterwards via DLC.
 
Damn i just wish there were some sort of female love with this pre-order campaign. But o well, Reptile is a pretty solid fall back. Amazon, here I come :)
 
Ok i got some very important questions.

1. If I was to buy the tournament mk 9 from amazon.ca were would i find it because i just see the normal game itself can someone get a link please.

2. Are these characters gonna be on the disc itself or a dlc code or what, because im not gonna lie i want all of them. I just want to know if we can dlc them later. This is smart on one hand and dumb on the other because everyone loves these fatalities. We do not want to buy the game three times. Just to get classic costumes and fatalities.

It was said in one of the interviews before, i forget which one but all of the main characters will be unlocked from the start like the dc universe game but there will most likely be hidden characters. There was a twitter post by one of the guys too that it was gonna be the best krypt ever so hopefully there will be unlockable costumes in it, along with plenty of other great stuff. Can't wait

Buy the game 3 times, but return two of them once you know that you have received the DLC codes from all of the retailers. Your best bet would be to keep the Amazon.com copy, but return the Best Buy and GameStop copies.
 
I only wish all these exclusive dlc gets in the store for sale!
since i'm living in the netherlands and we don't seem to get a thing
 
i guess i just answered one of my own questions its only amazon.COM so it would have to come from the USA to get the reptile skin. Looks like they email you the code 2 days after the shipping.

Ive got a new question. Let say I have 3 friends. One buys from gamestop one buys from best buy and i buy from amazon.com
we all get our codes from each store. Could we all use the same codes to get each classic costume and fatality for all of us or only 1 code per game?
