Versus Screen Image Leaks

I can deal with Smoke, but I think Kintaro looks awful. Why does it seem to be so difficult for them to make him look as bad ass as he did back in MK2?

Does it really look that bad compared to older versions? I'm glad that they are trying to switch it up so it isn't like he's a carbon copy of Goro.

In one of the pictures I saw, he did look more feline, but as you said, I'm glad for the changes. Kintaro is supposed to be half tiger, so it would make sense for him to look feline.

How embarrassing would it be to get your ass kicked by a six-limb kitty cat?

Thats awsome I dont mind the design now but this picture is awsome!

What I always like about him back in the MK2 days was that I was afraid to fight him because of how he looked and how big and intimidating he was!
 
Kintaro looks way better than he did in Armageddon, but I do agree that he needs to be a little bulkier like in MK2 and his face should be a little more menacing (which I personally feel wasn't even done right in MK2).

As for Smoke's hair, I don't think the hair will stand up like in the versus pic; it could be a just wind effect or something.

The image is called 24435_BD_dlc_color_122_83lo DLC being the key letters there. It seems to just be a placeholder for DLC characters or maybe they wont have VS. screen images and it will be like the KAF image used in MKA.
 
The fighter "Smoke" has a look that is not only a insult to all ninja but to all kombatants in this tournament. I will grab him by his girly, silky, long hair and melt his entire face away so none of us kombatants will ever have to look at that embarrassment. In reflection, I do believe my look perfectly portrays my Saurian heritage but don't worry, for I shall hide behind my retro mask/outfit as too hunt my prey(you) from the shadows incognitto...also Jade is hot.

Do you need to be reminded about how horrible Reptile has looked in almost every single MK game? His only good looks are the classic one and MKSM. That's an embarrasment. haha

Also whatever happened to "do NOT use these as your avatar"? I'm seeing these pictures around this forum everywhere.

I have been seeing them a lot to. I was PM people so they wouldn't get in trouble but there are so many now. If it is ok now I would roll out my new sig. Would be nice to get an official ok or not from a mod or the man himself.

I believe it's ok if it's an officially revealed character. I saw so many that I decided to put in my signature, too.

I think you should just wait. At least some of us know better not to use the leaked images, even if everyone else is doing it. ;)

I love Smoke and Kintaros design :) I don't know why people have to complain if characters arent how they think they should look, Bout time Kintaro looks like a tiger if you ask me.
