Tri-Borg origins THEORY.........

Even the blood daggers are mentioned in MKX, sure as a passing by conversation between Raiden and Bo Rai Cho, but what are the inconsistencies from the comics?

I don't know exactly. I'm just assuming Incubus is right. Wouldn't surprise me if it's true. But I stopped following the comic after a while, so I'm not sure myself.

Sektor's memory was still fully functioning when Kuai-Liang showed Hanzo the truth about the death of his family, though.
He was on life support, but it was still transmitting his memories.
Makes me wonder if Kuai killed all the Tekunin and tore Sektor apart, leaving him immobilized, like how Raiden immobilized Shinnok (who isn't dead, per se).

Doesn't really matter. NRS dude confirmed on Twitter that Triborg doesn't have unique quotes for his variations. Smoke would say that to Sektor and Cyber Sub would say it to Cyrax.

The comic was originally going to canon, I believe, but there are so many inconsistencies with the MKX Story Mode that it can't be canon. And Tremor was never shown in MKX's Story Mode, however Tanya and Bo were. But well, if the MKX comic truly is canon, then of course Tremor is as well.

Inconsistencies or not, Kittlesten and Ed Boon still called them canon. MKX even references comic events like the Reiko Accords and Takeda being raised by Scorpion. Tremor is also canon to MKX's plot. He retrieved the "Psyche Bomb" from the Dream Realm that Kano used to steal Shinnok's amulet from the Shaolin.

Be realistic, guys. We all know this character only exists because of fan demand and the variation system.

Yeah but that's without saying that Triborg is going to have a biography and ending like every other character. There's going to be an explanation.

I like to think all the characters are canon. Guest characters.. That's different but how much would it matter if they were lurking around in the MK universe, for a short period of time, without impacting the story.

Triborg could become pivotal in later MK games. Because the biggest question now is, who is Sub-Zero's rival now that he and Scorpion are lovers?

BBBLP - I'm just throwing a theory out there of a possibility for MK11.
Unless the comics confirm Noob Saibot dead, then it could be a possible theory, imo.
True or not, it was just something that I was pondering.

Noob-Zer013 - Exactly.
I'm sure that Tri-Borg will have a bio and ending, and I'm wondering if it will ever come true, or what his bio and ending could mean for MK11.
It could mean nothing, but I just wanted to discuss the theory of either Noob Saibot or someone else possibly re-assembling this type of super cyborg to serve their means. ;-)

Possibly Kotal Kahn who has a bitter taste in his mouth from Earthrealm warriors, or Liu and Kitana (should they decide that Earth is for their taking), or possibly Frost who decides to rebel against the Grandmaster.

lol he's only canon for as long as we have a variation system... when NRS want them back as individual characters, Triborg will conveniently disappear. ;)

Oh alright, nice to have that established then. ^^
After all the talk about the MKX comic back then, it sounded like it ended up with it not being canon.

now that he and Scorpion are lovers?

Cause that's never happened to canon characters before.

Possibly (Noob-Smoke also disappeared), but my reasoning for creating the thread was just a hypothetical "what if" scenario, in case that NRS does decide to further use him in MK11.

I really don't see why you still think Noob Saibot is still alive. We watched him blow up in MK9, had absolutely no canon mention of him in MKX and Kung Lao tells Sub-Zero in an intro that he's "calling from the other side". Your theory could be possible, of course. But I still think it's unlikely. Noob Saibot never had anything to do with the Tekunin Clan, that was Sektor's joint.

I highly doubt Noob is dead... I mean, no more than he was before. He died as Sub Zero and came back as Noob. Why would he be perma dead after the soulnado thing? I bet he's just stuck in some weird f***ed up dimension or something.

Yeah, we never see Noob die. Getting sucked into a Soulnado that explodes doesn't mean he's dead. I mean, come on... it's Mortal Kombat! Unless we hear the devs say "Noob is dead!", then he isn't dead... and even then, there's always a chance he can return one way or another!

Never said perma dead, but his ass undoubtedly got ganked. In Scorpion's MKDA ending, he got thrown into a Soulnado. And it would have "Ripped his hellspawn body apart" if the Elder Gods didn't intervene.

Now, no doubt. Same case could apply here. But until that happens, it is heavily implied that Noob Saibot was killed.

We also have to wait and see if NRS changes the rules to which how a soulnado operates. I mean, we didn't really get an explanation in MK9, did we? So who knows.

I feel like if he were dead they would made note of it in MKX. I mean, Shang Tsung was killed in MK9 (lol at the people who argued with me for days saying he wasn't dead) and at least one of the MKX endings (Ermac, I believe) flat out says that Shang Tsung had died. Story Mode mentions that Sektor bit the dust.

I could be wrong, but I believe the only characters with unknown whereabouts are Noob, Jade and I think Sheeva (unless they were discussed in the comics).
