Also Tim is right, unless you go to tourney's you can't really SPECIFICALLY criticize a tourney player for something they did wrong, because you would never know how that pressure actually feels. (imo)

Really not true.

Firstly, just because you don't go to a video games tournament that doesn't mean you've never been to any tournament and don't know personally what it's like.

Secondly, even if you do go to a video games tournament, you still have no clue what's inside someone else's head.

Thirdly, you don't need to even go to any tournament to understand the concept of pressure getting to people.

Fourthly, using that logic, every single sports fan around the world has no right to comment on the performance of any sports team or player unless they play sports professionally. Try telling that to the millions of sports fans around the world.

no homo but I thought of you when watchin this and how u said I should start doing tournies. me and mr mil play all the time and this was his first tourny and he did very well. so maybe I can try one to. plus (not tryin to sound ****y) the fact that marvaz made top 8 and i bested 5-0 a few days ago kinda influenced me more lol. Would be nice to have some people from the forum that you see posting - I don't know these people, so would give me someone to cheer on!

$1000 seems relatively small if that is winner only and there is a lot of travel involved. Do these tournies need more sponsorship? Would have though the games devs, producers and all that may sponsor for longer.

But for your information I wasn't critisizing anyone. Saying people are evenly matched isn't really critisizing(when they go 1-1). It's someone else who was preaching that a certain someone choked w/o any concrete evidence.

So I don't just sit on my ass and do nothing.

Also I cannot relate to their pressure because I stopped feeling it A LONG time ago. I got use to it when i played Super Smash Brothers Melee competitively. I'm 100% relaxed when I play games. Because I don't let my ego get hurt or anything like that. to me it's just fun and games. I might feel pressure if someone else depends on me but that's yet to happen as tournaments are 1v1 events most of the time.

I'm friends with mr. mileena, detroit, 16 bit, shoryuken and marvaz and I have epic battle with all of them. but I have the hardest time with detroit and his kabal is insanely nasty so I think he will get the win today. most of the ppl in top 8 are in crazy 88s. im rootin for mr. mileena tho. me and hik have the same playstyle when it comes to kitana and our matches are intense. but I wouldn't be surprised if detroit won

1. You are extremely ignorant in how things work in the big boy, competitive game world. Keep believing whatever your heart tells you, but know that its wrong.

2. You obviously dont know shit, and dont know shit about how things work. I dont censor anyone to any degree of my own opinions, and do my job at with holding the forums i moderate to the rules written for them. If you have a problem with that, then you must ignorant and not caring of any rules put in front of you.
