Okay I this this has gone way off topic but w/e.
People think easy to use = high tier but that has not been the case in any fighting game.
What people saw as high
What really was high tier
Easy to use characters are usually the main ones winning out of the gate but once the others get weeded out the ones on top are usually the ones who took the longest to explore. With that said "weapons" are just another tool in the game, example: if you pick Kabal and I pick Mileena and we just stand there its 0-0 - now if we set the computer to go at eachother its 5-5 no matter what because if kabal does iagb mileena will duck to avoid it and they would counter everytime because the machine is reading the other machine so no reaction is required. Tier list is said to be the match up of two players with the same skill level in a FT10 - simply put it measures how well a player uses the tools vs how well another would react to those said tools. People who "win" Tournaments are there because they learned how to react to those bad MUs and are comfortable enough with their character to be part of that 3 in 3-7 OP favor.
