The Official "What Players Message You After you Beat them" thread

No one has had the balls to trash talk me after a match yet.

Probably because I've lost almost all of my ranked matches. ;_;
 
I have a bad habit of going into lobbies and picking fights with the jerks who spam ****y messages. I recognized this one guy named Barricade from the old MKvsDC lobbies, he was acting just as jerky as he was back then. I challenge him, beat his Raiden with my Stryker, so next fight he picks Stryker and tries to spam his gun. I didnt fall for his cheap tactics and punished him badly with Nightwolf. He wouldve lost but he ragequit when his plan failed. I tell him good game, but he just posts STILL NO LIFE I SEE on the lobby. Oh well

^^ LOL... sorry to hear that...

The day that PSN is restored will be my doomsday as well... I love MK, but usually suck at playing online... too much pressure... :-D
 
"Seems you like to slide, f*****" which came from a teleport/projectile -spammer. Sliding is a good counter to that.
 
Just yesterday I got my first nice message after winning a match, saying: "Congrats, you're pretty solid with Kabal". I answered with a "Thank you, nice combos with jade". It was a beautiful moment :'). Now I usually send congrats messages to people who beat my ass :D.
(Except spammers, seriously, F*ck that guys)
 
I only got to pay twice on KOTH (2-0 yay) and no one messaged me although I was scored a 0.0 by my opponent when the spectators gave me 10s.
 
I havent received negative mail for mk9 yet. However, I was called "scrub", "useless" and what not playing street fighter 4. What a bunch of gutless pricks

We'd have to be, it's not like PS3 has online multiplayer.

I played a scorpion who would spam the FP,FP,FP target combo, then fail to cancel into spear, he'd also toss in a few random teleports and used his x-ray the second he got it. Anyway, I beat him in the second round by just dashing forward and sweeping, got it off about 5 times in a row. He sent me the following (Read bottom to top)

I sent some back asking "u mad?" etc. The final few messages were sent as he joined a KOTH room I was winning in, I guess he had the intention of beating me to prove a point? But he got flawlessed in the second round. The last message had me in stitches.
 
No hate mail yet. I usually see GGs after my fights. I however sent a congrat message to a guy with a damn good Sektor. I was impressed.

I personally cant stand spammers, runners, and people in the lobbys who talk big trash. Its annoying, but I wont ever message them. Its pointless and childish.
 
i was practicing reptiles D+4 linked into acid hand (sort of a frame trap that hits low then overhead) so i pretty much did just that trying to learn its spacing and such. didnt have anyone to practice on so i went online. guy picked smoke. whats the first thing he did? teleport. the first thing i did? d+4 which made him whiff his tele and i hit him with acid hand.

i then dashed forward, did d+4 which poked him out of his tele attempt and hit with acid hand.

his teleport got off the second time, but again i d+4 into acid hand, again i ducked it, again he ait the acid hand, and is now in the corner. i proceeded to d+4 linked acid hand 3 more tries as he tries to get out of hte corner with teles. he gets out hte 4th try and again eats my acid hand after his tele whiffs.

the second match went largely like that.

he messaged me calling me a "F-ing spammer you F-ing suck lrn 2 combo F-er" all i could think was...didnt you use ONLY teleport the whole time?

found it funny his psn name was something like oh_lawd, pictured him saying it over and over as i kept ducking his tele spam.

Yeah for some reason people think I'm black too whenever I use my mic.. I'm not.. And I'm not doing it deliberately either.. :/
To make it clear, this is black people thinking I'm black lol, and it usually happens in a friendly match, like they're not calling me names or anything.

I had one guy adding me to a live party to chat on the mic and ask about boosting and achievements... I told him it was very easy to do in this game, and good luck with it........ lol. I'd love to see his face when he discovers the challenge tower and character mastery achievements.

The anti-spamming spammer rage of spam. The people who love to spam, then you counter their spam with your spam and that makes you a god-awful spammer. Isn't life grand? ^ _ ^

One of my favorites. He was like 450-120 or something along those lines. A good player, but no match for my Sektor! The funniest part though is the fact that, even when people lose, they tell you that YOU'RE the one who needs skill. Wa wa wa.

Note: I beat this kid 3 times in a row with Sektor. 3-0. This kid picked Scorpion (under the guise of a hidden cursor), then Noob Saibot, and then I think he gave up all hope and went with Sheeva so he could spam her slow ass teleport stomp. Either way, I won. As for the name, my gamertag is Satans Miracle. You play a game were you beat someone to death with their own spine, but any mention of Satan seems to throw them over the top.

Bottom line; haters are going to hate. Whether they win or lose, they'll still hate on you. Don't get your feelings hurt, just keep fighting the good fight. :D

oh i feel ya there buddy. I think I have only quit out once all the rest of the times i throw the controller or my headset (which after the first two broke a while back I've should of learned not to) then I go on the computer and wait to search for another match.


I haven't received any hate mail but I do occasionally hear people call me cheap for using smoke and beating them. Even when I use multiple combos and just move around better than they do.

If I play a guy and its a good game or he kills me but it was clear he knew what he was doing. I'll send him a message saying gg. occasionally i'll send a "it was actually fun losing to you" message
 
You have kids that are good players, and some who spam the heck out of you. If I get beat by a good player, I tell him it was a good fight. If I'm fighting a spammer or turtle, I would quit because I'm not having fun. I would send him a message, like "stop spamming" or "Way to spam kid." It's funny though, when I leave ranked matches because people spam with Smoke or Scorpion. I don't recall any specific messages, but I remember one black guy losing it that I quit out of his game. He was all raging and stuff in a message. I responded with, "You mad?" He responded with more vulgarity and negrocity. I just responded again. "Yeah, you mad." Then blocked communications with him. People get mad over this game to easily. Once I get the Outstanding! achievement, I'll probably steer clear of ranked matches.

Block + uppercut. Ruins any spammers day. Saves you the trouble of dc'ing, saves you time writing a message. Don't be the quitter. Be the punisher. :D

That's easy, jump. But only jump once. You jump twice he'll most likely do a teleport which will barely hit you in the ankle...but still a hit none the less. Plus he could follow up with a spear, which is even worse. But Scorpion spammers are all about predictability. Use the first match to study their pattern, then act accordingly. Hellfire = jump. Once you land, block, because he might try and spear or teleport you. However, 3/4 of Scorpions special moves are very punishable simply because of the cool down time afterward. If you have xbox live, invite me to be your friend so we can spar. I'll teach you how to deal with it if you'd like. ^ _ ^
