The Next MK Game Should Have ___ On The Cover

If they choose to continue their transition into the next generation, I think it'd be cool to have Cassie on the cover, along with another important newbie that's either already in MKX or one that will be in the next installment. Then in the back they can have the usual ninjas or other Klassics so people who don't follow the game as much as us can be assured Scorpion/Subby/whoever is still there.
 
It'll undoubtedly be Scorpion or Sub-Zero yet again, but I think corrupted Raiden would make sense whIle still being an image casuals recognize.
 
The Dragon Logo.
Thats all it ever should be IMO.

Having Scorpion on the cover or Sub Zero makes me think the game is about them or revolves wound them, and it really doesnt. Tho they are the mascots or whatnot, the game itself isnt about them at all.

The Dragon Logo has always been a perfect game cover for MK.
 
Hard to say without knowing what's the new game going to be about. I just hope it's not Scorpion again. He's too old for this shit.
 
Just logo would be good.

Putting someone as irrelevant as Erron Black on the cover would be an insult. I can think of at least 20 people who they are better off putting on the cover if they won't go for the dragon logo. That includes new characters like Cassie Cage who is actually relevant to the progression of the story and the new direction, even then I don't think she's the best option for a cover.

That could very well include storyline, though.

Or it could affect some of the actresses she's had over the years (Zamiar, Gable, Soto, etc.)

These are the only options that seem even remotely plausible at this time: Dragon logo, Scorpion, Scorpion/Sub-Zero, Liu Kang/Kitana, Liu Kang/Raiden, Raiden.

In order from most preferred to least preferred: Dragon logo, Liu Kang/Raiden, Liu Kang/Kitana, Scorpion, Raiden, Scorpion/Sub-Zero.

Oh, it was definately not meaningless. It was to prove Kotal had won the civil war and to reward D'Vorah for being a big part of the victory.
 
I could see characters with rivalries facing each other on the cover. You know, preparing for battle. Maybe they could have varied covers, or even a flippable one. TTT2 is primarily Kazuya facing Jin on the front, but you can flip it around for Anna facing Nina. I thought that was cool.

They could do Scorpion vs. Sub-Zero as the primary, and flip it with Mileena vs. Kitana/Sonya vs. Kano. I'd love that.
