Are there more people having this problem while gaming? my controller then gets slippery and i can't do any combo's/special attacks in mortal kombat 9 (okay i can do it... but sometimes they fail cuz of the sweat.)

somebody got any tips? i cleaned my controller over 10000 times, washed my hands with soap 10000 times and some anti-bacteria thingy gel, but it still happens.... ARGGHHH

I don't have this problem but I guess there are a few things you can do.
1. Don't grip your controller so tightly, just let it rest in your hands. (It's a lot more comfortable too).
2. Take your hands off your controller every once in a while, like when the round is over and your characters are getting up/posing.
3. Don't get too overworked, you might start moving your hands more and the friction between your hands and the controller will cause heat. (This also helps your gameplay).

You have to learn to not get worked up and thats a skill in itself. You have to get in the zone where making good decisions turn in to second nature and you're only focused on the game. That can take a long time to achieve sometimes or it comes naturally. It didn't come naturally for me so I had to learn.

It is just a condition you have. My friend growing up had it, and he was always shy about shaking hands because there was a puddle in his palms, even while not gaming. I saw something about it and you get have surgery but it reroutes where your sweat goes, and in this case it ended up profusely sweating out of his chest. His hands were dry though. Do some medical research.

May be a condition called Hyperhidrosis.

the thing is... i NEVER get sweaty hands. ONLY if im on the ps3, when i was on psp, i didnt get them, same for shaking hands, gba, etc.

Like Kzaoo said don't get overworked just try and keep calm.

As a kid when I gamed seriously I ALWAYS got sweaty to the point where my armpits were drenched in sweat.

But I learned to just chill with the occasional yell. Just sit back and relax while you play.

Hope this helps :]

dam this problem... is horrible now my controller is very dirty and i cant play very well and its worst in the summer

My hands sometimes get so swetty that the simbols on my controllers got erased do to the sweet.... :/

The only thing that can resolve it for me is to play with gloves.... Yeah...

Ha, just playing buddy.

I don't have a ps3 but don't they generally have 'smooth' controller surfaces? Like what you're actually grasping is smooth. While the 360 controller does have little bumps. Maybe it has something to do with that?

It happens. Yup, I remember my Dramcast controller. After I didn't wash it for awhile, some small brown stuff show up, so a month or less, I get in the habit of washing my controllers with alcohol swabs or those anti-bacterial wipes.

my hands dont sweat but they get clamy under extreme gaming situations. the only time ive had this situation is playing prinny 2 dawn of operation pantys (real name) it was on a particular boss

When you win like me, you never get sweaty hands.

When I play my 360, the little nubs on the analog sticks are rubbed completely off. No grip anymore. =<

I think i solved the problem, i open the window and sit next to it (ofc on the table, cuz i cant play sitting on the couch :p) so (cold) wind comes in my room, which makes my hands less warm so they wont sweat. :D

@jade what's your secret? :p
