***spoilers*** how to get to the hidden fighters

All tips welcome lol, i'm the OP And was following the unlocks of all these as they were happening from people who had the game prerelease, was a thing of beauty when jade was finally found, but i still haven't got jade up yet, after a while of shang landing one cheapshot per fight frustration gets the better of me and i either just carry on or just lose my mind and lose a round. Irritating little bugger
 
Holy S@$#! Found out something! Don't know if I'm the first, but I'm not seein anyone else sayin' anything. i'll record it when I can, but there's a secret in Jade's Desert
 
So far I've unlocked fights with Jade, Smoke and Reptile but for some reason the Noob fight won't happen. I do as described -win the fight without using block at the Temple stage while Noob is in the background (to the right of the alter). Done it three times and nothing happens. Am I missing something? Do I need to do a Fatality? Kinda bugs me. By far the easiest hidden character challenge and I can't get it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If you do it right, you'll be interrupted before you even get prompted to finish your opponent. I can't imagine what you're doing wrong, but if Noob doesn't stay visible for the entire match, you must be inadvertently hitting block at some point (he disappears once you block an attack). I've only fought him a couple of times, but I pretty much took my finger completely off that part of the controller and avoided using X-rays and EX moves to be sure.

I was wondering if that was the case. So it's more like the Smoke fight. I know for sure that he stayed the whole fight the last time I tried. I was prompted to do a fatality right in front of him............. The first time I did a fatality, the second time I just punched when prompted and the third time I did nothing. Just waited and nothing happened. So I must be doing something wrong if I get the "Finish Him" command. Maybe my button is stuck er sumpin. Idk I'll keep trying. Thanks for your post.
 
Ok peeps if anyone can help slick ninja out would be helpful, can't understand why it's not happening mate, will keep an eye out see if i can find out what's up dude
 
i did not know about this and i was just fighting then all of a sudden i get a secret fight with noob................i was so confident about winning and i def did not win :p
 
Just got the noob fight! Not sure what I was doing wrong. Did the same thing I always did. Props to DCR and NXNDJ. Even though you didn't really help. You replied and I appreciate the input. So thanks.

Half Hidden Cyrax was found soooooo long ago... before the game was even released... there is no secret fight so far.... dont think there will be either... just an easter egg.

Anytime slickninja all i can think is that you stumbled across one of the many bugs lol. I won't update anything on the original post until its confirmed from multiple sources so won't put cyrax up until verified which i highly doubt will happen tbh
 
Jade fight= make way through ladder without losing a round and performing a fatality on every character and then beating shang with 2x flawless and fatality
 
I *just* got the Jade fight. All I am certain of is there was 7 flawless victories and a fatality on every round. 2 more flawless vs Shang Tsung and the fatality on him too. No rounds lost either.
 
I got this achievement last night. It was actually simpler than I thought. Check my profile on xbox.com for proof.
 
The original theory was 7 flawless victories but heard frequent reports that 5 will do it, would love a vid as confirmation, same with people claiming you just need to double flawless and finish shang, fairly sure thats bs tho
 
You don't have to perform a fatality on Shang. I just got this with Smoke last night. After trying an hour with a posted Scorpion method I found an easier one on my own. If anyone else already posted it then that's cool I'm not claiming I'm the first to do it this way.

Go with Smoke. Stick with teleport punches on the ground. He seldom ever blocks both punches. You can use one EX tele in the first round. Maybe another, but save the xray to finish him off. Eventually you are going to get him in the corner. Here I use smoke bomb and air throw to seperate from him and start the tele-punch in the opposite direction. Backing him all the way into the corner and crowding him is a bad idea. If he does block a tele-punch try a quick low kick or two and he might not get a hit on you. Then repeat. Oh and use the classic Smoke skin as the on the ground smoke bomb has been said to work.

I tried an hour with Scorpion and maybe ten minutes with Sheeva. Smoke is much easier.

Even if you win the fight all you get is koins, should get the trophy/achievement for just unlocking them, and for jade i can confirm you only need 5 flawless on the run up then 2 more at shang, will edit original post later
