Re: [SPOILER, RUMOR] Sub-Zero's identity in MKX is...
Bi Han most likely dies again. the statue in the lin kuei temple is bi han. Same out fit as subz main costume so probably a tribute to him.
The statue in the beginning of the trailer has the same scar over his right eye as Sub-Zero in the trailer.
So, if you are saying that the statue is of Bi-Han, then the Sub-Zero shown is also Bi-Han, because they both have the same exact scar on the same eye.
Why is everyone arguing about the eyes?
Sub-Zero from Issue 1 had blue pupils and after Kano scared him his eyes turned out white... So simple.
No.
His eyes glowed red, because he was possessed by the demon, it was even shown in the latest comic issue that his eyes were glowing red.
The eyes are being debated because Kaui-Liang never had pupil-less eyes in the old timeline, only very light blue eyes, but he always had pupils even when he mastered Cryomancy.
It's possible that the outfit (without the scar) we have seen so far is Bi-Han or Kuai Liang during/after the Netherrealm War. But the "murderer" and "Shirai Ryu dog" does not fit well with Kuai Liang, they fit the elder.
Inside my mind, the one of the trailer is Kuai Liang, but I need more clear information about the one we have seen so far, for the reasons I stated, because I still think he is Bi-Han.
These are the exact reasons why I still think it's Bi-Han.
The majority of the intro lines, along with the more recent ones versus Ermac fit Bi-Han even better.
I don't understand why some people say the Sub-Zero from the story mode trailer was Bi Han. It is clearly Kuai Liang, why do you deny it?
Because opinions?
It's not clear that it's either brother at this point because both NRS and Kittlesen are being vague about it, not even calling MKX Sub-Zero by his real name.
The scar was introduced in MK3 to make the younger Sub-Zero recognizable. There is no reason to give Bi Han Kuai's scar and his MK3 outfit. Even if it really was Bi Han, why would we (I also love Bi Han) want him to be like Kuai Liang?
I REALLY don't understand this argument, at all.
Kuai-Liang has stolen more from Bi-Han in the old timeline and in this new MK9 timeline than Bi-Han ever did.
People just choose to ignore that because of double-standards.
In the old timeline Kuai took his brother's identity "Sub-Zero," took his brother's costume, took his bother's special moves and took his brother's finishing moves.
In MK9, Kuai once again took his brother's name, copied his brother's costume, took his special moves and fatality, was written as getting killed off as Sub-Zero (which is a specific Bi-Han thing) and is now being suggested by you and others to be brought back from the dead with white eyes (also a Bi-Han specific thing).
Let's also not forget that Smoke and Kuai switched roles, and Kuai became cyber in MK9.
Let's not all get hypocritical, now, and just say that Bi-Han
can't have the scar or that uniform this time around in MKX and be the one to honor his brother, because the opposite is true.
Bi-Han's identity and characteristics have also been given to Kuai-Liang in the past.
