SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

Somewhat similar. If the story trailer is anything to go on they might skip on Shinnok by sealing him in the amulet, Onaga might stop by indeed. Which would be surprising because the fighters in this roster, although cool, seem a little underpowered against Onaga. Maybe the kamidogu can still be of use after they were used to resurrect Onaga or a regular character uses them first, becomes the big bad and Onaga is for the next MK.

I thought he could be left for "MK11" maybe, but I think this description is very strong for this game.

Anyway, you arte right about other kombatants. Imagine if he came back with projectile immunity.

Ha! Deaths will happen then! If his army is present as well that would be pretty permanent too.

In case Onaga shows up I think Shinnok will be involved in the next game. Onaga and Shinnok teaming up seems impossible.

Maybe they make something likes this.

You keep going through the Outworld Civil war to get The Amulet.

At some point, you play the Netherrealm War, probably to explain the threat of Shinnok.

at the same time, the blood threat will keep going, probably referred as the One Being/related.

Onaga may come at the very end, meaning that the only fight we shall have with Shinnok is the flashback of the NRW.

I am not suggesting Onaga is in this game as playable character or as the big bad, HOWEVER, the hints are very strong in the story trailer: Outworld civil war is a great part of it, its throne, and then the amulet... and in the comics, we have the kamidogu... I wouldn't be surprised at all, if X's cliffhanger was Onaga's being freed.

NR War is very unlikely to be a flashback. The demo Adam Urbano showed off had Johnny Cage playable, and it was described as either the first, or one of the first, chapters in the game.

Yes, that's what I meant with the flashback. Sorry, I used not enough words to express myself.

I meant that the flashback would be playable, but said as flashback considering we would be mostly on the 25 years (considering it "the present").

Oooh, I getcha. :)

I'm sure Bi Han killed nobody.

In MK9 he says something like this: "It wasn't me Scorpion, he's tricking you" (Not his real words, but along those lines).

In MKX Sub-Zero (unknown identity) says in his intro something like this: "I'm tired of claiming my innocence on that matter" (Again, not his real words, I don't want to google it...)
That was in regards to Bi Han murdering his FAMILY. Not Hanzo himself.

I actually get the feeling Daegon is involved. The Red Dragon have more of a presence here than Shujinko does so far. I think it might be Daegon who is searching for the daggers.

Shorter summary than usual because of how much the preview showed, but here we go:

Spoiler:
After the preview, Hanzo describes how he burned Bi-Han alive even while the cryomancer proclaimed his innocence. Even after getting his vengeance, however, the hellfire stayed with Scorpion and he used it to fight yet more opponents like Liu Kang and Johnny Cage. However, things changed when Hanzo's life was restored! (he's also shown wearing a much darker-looking outfit we haven't seen yet here) Feeling guilty about all of the lives he had taken and unworthy of this second chance at life, Hanzo contemplated suicide... until a wise man told him what his hellfire really was: not rage, but the shame, pain, and loss that came from the slaughter of his family and clan. Hanzo relives that moment everytime he uses his powers, and it always risks destroying him again.

Back in the present, as Raiden's lightning bolt strikes, Hanzo is able to teleport behind the thunder god and grab Takeda, teleporting away again. In the past, Takeda asks who this wise man that helped Hanzo was, and Hanzo replies that it was none other than Takeda's father, Kenshi. In the present, as Raiden prepares to use his Kamidogu dagger upon himself yet again, Hanzo teleports back into the fray in full Scorpion mode, teleports the dagger away, and begins his brutal assault upon Earthrealm's crazed protector! To be continued.

Sounds lamer than I thought. We don't even get a resolution on Scorp vs. Raiden. Yes, that's two straight chapter endings that serve as cliffhangers for the same fight. L. O. L.

Thanks for the summary.

Whoops, just realized I made a pretty big mistake.

Spoiler:
Raiden wasn't pulling out Takeda's sword, he was about to use his Kamidogu dagger on himself again. That's what Scorpion took away.

I would love if you could send me the dark scorpion pic by pm!
