SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

Well shit... might surprise me.

Also just because Cassie is a teenager doesn't mean she couldn't kill. Younger children in real life manage to decapitate a person (not talking about children soldiers). Even so I believe that she would only do that right now if she had no other choice. For example if Frost were to get up and sneak attack Cassie and in doing so, put Cassie in position where she has to choose between life and death. As I still remember Raiden's words saying "and the bloodshed could begin with Cassie Cage". So it isn't really still clear. There is still an option for death here.

P.S Who the hell puts his/her face that close towards the opponent. No matter how opponent is beat up, you are still asking for surprise hit. So much for a flawless fighter.

This is Mortal Kombat, the ridiculously violent fictional universe where even good guys like monks, police agents or benevolent protector Gods use needlessly brutal methods to mutilate and torture people after a fight is over.
Why is everyone acting like the seventh seal is broken by a teenager killing someone in Mortal Kombat.

It doesn't matter if it's fictional, killing has consequences.

And for the record, most of fatalities are never executed on story, they are on gameplay for fun.

I'm excited to see who is going to get axed in this story mode...we're going to be able to perform a fatality or two this time around..can't wait .

"I AM the flashing lights and special effects."

 Armageddon will cage u!!!!!!!!!!

I think we only perfomed fatalities on MK:A, MK:SM and MKM:SZ.

Like what for example? Are the fans going to be horrified at this, does it make Cassie Cage evil aligned, will it make Sonya send her to jail?
I'm not complaining or disagreeing, I just honestly don't see what ya'll mean by this and I'm curious. I took this as just another monday in MK, same as Hsu Hao's death.

Oh, I wasn't mentioning real life consequences!

I was mentioning story consequences, you know, Cassie could become a maniac, very different from her father, and besides there is an evil lurking them, feeding on every blood drop.

There is no reason at all for her kill Frost, I think the comics are also indicating effects of all this brutality. Without mentioning Armageddon.

What about self defense?

Frost could get the upper hand, leaving Cassie no choice but to kill her.

It didn't look a no choice situation. Frost was knocked down.

If it was a self defense with no other expected action unless kill, well, that would be different.

Anyway the consequences of that kill would happen, no matter the excuse.

But didn't look like that. I mean, Frost can freeze , if Cassie knocked her down, I do believe she is not in the reason to kill!

Frost should have spent less time beating up faceless mooks in an underground MMA ring, and more time catching up on the latest Game of Thrones.

Here's the final cover for print issue #3.
