SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

It was a decent chapter. I felt like that it ended too short. Cassie seems very likeable and Kotal Kahn seems really awesome. Erron Black looks really cool and I wanted a Western character in MK for years. I do think that he is Salazar since the casting could have been based off original names before they were change.

I thought I was the only one that saw something wrong with her lower half , looks off for some reason. they should of just given her black tights with armored shin guards.

I would´ve loved a skirt or dress, because she´s a princess...
While I don´t have a problem with this "arabian" princess pants like Disney´s jazmin... i think the combination between those pants and those boots isn´t good, and looks weird....
 
The only comic I had impression it was long was the first. I think they wanted to impress us (and they did!).

The others, specially the one where Fox cuts his face, looked extremely quick.

I think this is why I dont like her new design as well. She doesnt need the one piece leotard like older games but im not digging the arabian, princess Jasmin jibe. I also agree about her shoes as well. Its like see through shin guards, and then these weird ninja/thong sandal things but I cant tell if shes wearing socks or its part of the shoes

On a side note, the more I think about it, the more I think Jaqui is going to be killed off. She seems to be Cassie's best friend. I think that Cassie is going to have a bunch of horrible shit happen to her at once (she is forced to kill someone, her best friend is killed) and thats when she decides to get serious and join the special forces. It seems to me like her character is going to be that shes arrogant and c*cky as a kid like her father and then she matures and decides to fight crime like her mother as she gets older.

Johnny Cage seemed like the fun parent. Let Cassie do whatever she wanted while Sonya was the strict parent which is why Cassie probably wants nothing to do with her.

What you say seems right... But, I don´t think they would kill Jaqui.... but maybe she can fall into coma or something like that...
 
Or Maybe her death with humble Cassie into taking life more seriously and not relying on being a carefree "Warrior Princess"......

no thats the reason why I like her new desing because its less princessy and more assasin like, far from her mk9 design which is good, but maybe is the cut out parts in her pants that makes it look bad.

I notice fighting games or most games for that matter rarely include females in long dresses, and I am assuming it could be to do with the difficulty in trying to animate the flow and physics of the dress.

Peach or Zelda dress is a good example of a dress animation.... besides, it could be an open dress like Tanya's...
 
I wonder what proposition Kotal Kahn has for Sonya while trying to claim his spot as the next ruler of Outworld? Also that sorta gunslinger kombatant, E. Black..... I hope that he's the next reveal cuz he looks interesting.

I think Jaqui will be alive still, just severely wounded or something like that, which will make Cassie realize that life is not always fun and games in some places. I wonder what event will make her decide to let her mother train her?

And on the Outworld subject, I think Kotal believes that Mileena is unfit to rule the ravaged realm due to her being mentally and emotionally unstable, even though she technically does have rights to claim the throne in her "father's" absence.

Peach and Zeldas dresses are very solidified in that its animation is restricted to that of any other piece of clothing. I was thinking of something that is more loose and open to wind resistance physics. For example Lilis in the video below

 
True, but we'll never know what might occur that will cause both mother and daughter to put their animosity to the side. Let's see what future holds for young Cassie after her bout against Frost concludes?

So any thoughts about the Outworld situation I pulled up once more, if it was discussed in much earlier posts?

Sounds feasible, and it is probably Johnny Cage that is the only one of Cassie's descendants to make the game, which is why they are most likely going to surprise us with his appearance in the comic later on.
