SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

Spoiler:
If the spoilers I read are accurate, Kano told Cassie and Jacqui that another escape attempt from them would cost someone a leg...
... Could it be that Jacqui has a leg cut off and later in the story gets a new, mechanical one, much like her father's arms?

Please no. She is already boring and i hate her. Why does she have to go through the same path as her father

I thought the same thing at the moment I read it. I doubt it though, it would be too stupid and uninspired. No robot legs Jacqui please.

Lmao it's funny because that theory is entirely plausible to give Jacqui a "similarity" to her Father.

I'd hate that theory being played out.
As Cryo mentioned, it screams of uninspired and unoriginal.
I'd rather have Jacqui using her dad's Ground Pound move than having robotic legs.
Why does she need to have special enhancements to be a cool character?
MKII Jax is by far the best Jax, IMO.

About the Kamidogu curse, I think it means one of two things:

1. This plot will be set only in the comics, but will set some ambient in the game;
2. This plot is the plot of the game.

To tell you the truth, I think this demon thing is getting extremely serious. Specially after that Raiden thing.

Sometimes I think it will be a little bit of both. Something very important on this comic will set the events of the game.

It's inside this timespan, there is no way to avoid it. I'm not expecting a different plot on MKX, but the comics may set something very important.

I mean, Raiden gets possessed, Sub-Zero too, now is missing, mysteries on Outworld, Civil War...heavy things to be ended like this.

Unless they set up something EXTREMELY big, because it's getting very dark...

Kudos and touché, good sir. :top:
I just wasn't sure if Mythologies was even canon, given MK9 being an alternate and skewed timeline.
Are the events prior to MK1 still canon?
How do we know that Quan Chi or Shinnok didn't also catch wind of these visions and decide to change pre-MK1 events?
There's also Raiden mentioning Bi-Han defending EarthRealm from the NetherRealm armies of Quan Chi and Shinnok in MK9, but that quote doesn't exactly hint at him working for Raiden.

Raiden states in MK9, scorpion's chapter, that it was unfortunate sub-zero (Han) was killed as he aided against the forces of shinnok stated at 15:27 after Bi-han's death at the hands of scorpion.

Doesn't anyone find weird that in the recap of the previous issue it says Rain "manipulates water" we all know he manipulates water and lightning however in the cómic he only used lightning powers but he was described as a water manipulator. Perhaps he's not done with the comic.

Yeah I find it wack as hell too, lol.

Good find I forgot about that part. As for as mk9 goes though, nothing changes minimal or major till mk2. We do see Quan chi and nightwolf in mk1 story and stuff, but that's just for the story and filler fights. They serve little to none for the story at that point. I think they were for new fans to get to know these characters early on without having to explain them at the MK3 or end area as the longtime fans already know the chacters and story.

He strikes lightining by moving water, so I think it's included.

It's not like Raiden, who is lightining himself.

Well that's an interesting theory... I don't know if it's true though.

Rain seems to be water and lightning. Both of them.

Notice that he doesn't cast lightning directly on his opponents.

He casts clouds (water) and directs the lightining.

Besides the fact that all of his other powers are purely water. If he did control lightning, I think it was better if he used that,, like Raiden.

Even if he did that, I think he only controls water, but as lightning comes from clouds (usually , those that come from earth maybe they should talk with Tremor!) he has some manipulative powers.
