I'm not patroned of any right or wrong, but I am a TRMK user, and your kind of rude actions reflect on the Forum's usage for everyone. I didn't want to, but I did in conscience, and I think as an user, I have this right, specially when I am saying this by the rules. So it's an affair of everyone.

You are the kind of people that makes this world the worst: you care for anyone, you don't care about the effects of what you say, and you are the one who think you are appointed patron saint of right and wrong, because you think you can say whatever you want to people!

I wonder how far in advance did Shaun and Netherrealm collaborate on the story of MKX to plan out reveals and such.

Remember in the earlier issues where Demon Fox mentioned the daggers having a connection to Quan Chi? I have a feeling that the connection he was referring to is ShinnoShinnok's amulet. And who wants all of the Kamidogu AND Shinnok's amulet?

Onaga/Damashi.

Since this is an alternate universe, what if the Elder Gods dealt with Onaga themselves and his being invoked by Kotal Kahn reawakens him?

Just a theory, but Quan Chi definitely does have a lot more importance ppost-NRW than we're giving him credit for.

My antics? Meanwhile you keep replying to 'my antics' and so does Yellow Ledbetter & everyone else. You keep adding to the off-topic conversation and have the audacity to say it's my fault. You really are stupid, aren't you?

Anyways, I'm excited to see the next issue and see what happens between Kotal and Goro. I wasn't surprised at the death of Kotal's father, but I was surprised that Goro used Shao Kahn's hammer to do so. Goro doesn't seem like the type of guy who would resort to using a weapon to finish someone off. This could also mean he might use Kahn's hammer as a variation, that'd be interesting. What do you guys think? I think Goro's defeat is inevitable, but I wonder if he'll die or if he'll escape.

Yeah the last issue was crazy. Once Kotal sent his Father to find Mileena and Reiko I figured he'd be the Fallen Ally everyone was talking about. I don't think Goro using Shao Kahns Wrath Hammer is any indication it could be used as a variation. I think it was just a cool panel and Icing on the cake for him to use it against K'etz!

As far as Goro's defeat i have 2 theories in my head about it
1. Kotal and Goro face off and Goro wins! (In the Comic & being the reason of Kotals Rise and Fall from his reign)
2. Kotal whoops Goro's a$$ but Goro manages to escape or Kotal lets him live (Kind of explaining the "Goro Lives" reveal)

Now you mention it, i think that's the reason we haven't seen any goro footage... If he really wields shao's hammer that would be a major spoiler

This came up earlier in the thread already, and I agree. We only found out where the hammer was in the same issue that Goro came to possess it. At the absolute most, seeing Goro's variations including the hammer would have spoiled half of a single issue of a comic... which was already spoiled by the Fallen Ally preview! Too much effort and organization for zero gain.

It could still be a variation, I just don't see them deliberately hiding Goro footage to keep that a secret.
 
I wish Reiko picked up the hammer :(

If Goro keeps the hammer, I will think that's a minus for Reiko to be on MKX...

you know, that guy would certainly want that hammer.

If Goro uses it, well...
 
I really want Reiko to have that hammer, it doesn't suit Goro (the only minion of Mileena's forces I don't care for) at all.

I guess when we see Goro slinging about with his new Hammer in one of his variations that it means reiko is out.
 
I don't really like the idea of Goro using the hammer in the game. It's cool he used it once in the comic, but for the actual game the four arms with one hammer thing feels weird. He already has a gimmick, fighting with four arms, and that alone gives him so many possible animations for hits, grabs, etc.
Plus in terms of story and character I'd much rather see the hammer in Reiko's hands.
 
This thread seemed to be sooo good, untill people started going all insulting on a poetic level.
I would like to see some more of this, so please dont mind and please me with those tears.

PS: did anyone see that Xbox gameplay/trailer where they show the Ferra & torr vs Mr sharp shiny hat?
They show you a clear image of Jax in the tower, they better give Jacqui some metal gazanga's so I can try out if they bend.
 
But Goro didn't take the hammer by himself. I'm sure I saw Reiko giving him the hammer, telling him something about using the hammer for that mission? I think some of you are stretching things quite a bit - that actually is more of an indication that Reiko is an important character and has the hammer, not Goro.

MKX: more Reiko, less Jax. Please. As for members of this place causing trouble, there is an "ignore" option, right? Use it.
