Soul Calibur Series

Embarassed? Lol Talim is the shit Deimos, you don't see too many women in games that use bladed tonfas as weapons

Best character other than Necrid and Mitsurugi

Well, I love her fighting style and weapons, but she is too underage Japanese schoolgirl for me to not feel awkward.

Heh. Does anyone here wanna fvck with this guy on SCV? I'm totally horrible...

Anywho...

Here is my list of people I play in order of frequency in SCV.

1. Raphael
2. Z.W.E.I.
3. Mitsurugi
4. Patroklos
5. Ivy
6. Astaroth
7. Hilde

In SCIV I play...

1. Raphael
2. Yun-Seong
3. Mitsurugi
4. Cassandra
5. Siegfried
6. Seong Mi-Na
7. Hilde

My favorite character in Soul Calibur is Raphael.

I use him religiously in Soul Calibur V. Not to toot my own horn but...

You don't want to play my Raphael. Ever. You'll rage. Trust me.

But seriously...

I haven't played in while. So I'm probably really bad and I will probably get steam rolled by literally anyone on this board.

I actually did pretty good with Vader when I used to play him in SC4.

I always used his force choke throw, into his lift and then blast move. It did a shit ton of damage but it was hard to catch someone blocking.

Soul Calibur IV was actually the first game I got for my 360, back when the game was new.

I remember bringing the game and console to my friend's house cause he didnt have a next gen console either, all we played was Brawl. We were watching the opening and were like, "whoa look at those HD graphics, so crisp looking and BIG FVCKING TITTIES!........ AND YODA!"

Good times.

Sad that SCV is collecting dust on my shelf, I've been sidetracked by Namco's recent release of TTT2. I will pop in SCIV sometime cause Siegfried is a BAMF in that game compared to his SCV version.

I really don't like the way SCV was made. There aren't any bios for any of the characters (where the hell did Viola come from?). They took out old characters and added [annoying] new clones of them. I felt like SCV was an unfinished game. I liked SCIV so much better.

(But nothing could ever replace SCII)

Soul Blade and Soul Calibur 2 were the ones i most had fun with. The past three games ive played for a few days and retired them. On the shelf with alot of other games.

3 is the best for me. I loved the rts story mode.

V was stripped of a lot of content. No arcade endings, very few customization items, lack of weapon special abilities and a terribly boring story mode.

But the gameplay was a breath of fresh air. I was getting tired of playing the same damn game

Oh yes, SCII is my baby. Need to buy a PS2 copy just so I can get my hands on Heihachi, I got the gamecube version and the controller blows chucks.

Soul Calibur 1 is the one I mostly had fun with because it gave me that nostalgic feeling. Maybe because it was new and it was in the Dreamcast. Yes, it's because I kept playing it at least 5 hours or more straight with my brother which might've been my cause of some headaches. Soul Calibur 2 was good too. But in 3, I began to not really get interested after playing against my cheap classmate/ex-friend back in high school. Broken Destiny Elena's alright but now Soul Calibur and Tekkeb aren't so interesting to me anymore. It's more of the bloody and gory games for me.

BBBLP is smoking some serious shit.

SCIV is fantastic, and I don't even know how to play the damn game. I really love the visuals. It looks better than Tekken, in my opinion. Also, I feel like the game runs a lot more smoothly and fluently.

Also, the backgrounds and music are pretty awesome. But Tekken has good music too of course, but, not really in Tekken 6.

I was actually talking to my friend yesterday who is a huge SC fan. It's the only fighting game he plays and I told him I got SCIV.

He said "Good, because SCV is terrible. The gameplay is fine, but everything else, including the roster, sucks."
