So, who'll be going for 1000+ for MK? (360)

Personally will, I have a bad bad habit of completing all of the game I play, a couple of the achievements look a little hard but nothing to to bad, after I do it I will probably try and log in 10,000+ MP matches. :bird:

I've never tried to 100% any games achievements.
This game will change that, I may not do the online ones however, it depends on a few things.

I plan on getting all in a matter of time, but im going to take my time. i'm going to see how many pionts i can get without "going for them" then after my first week with out any achievements i will start the hunt !

I always try to get the most out of every game because at that moment I feel like I truly finished/completed the game. I played Mk Vs Dc and Street Fighter and the achievements for Mk vs Dc were to much of a waste of time because you had to do it with every character and obviously I didnt like playing with all of them. It was worse with street fighter because I only use Ryu and then there was only Ken but I have a good feeling with Mortal Kombat 9.

im just going to play this bad boy everyday until there is a new MK out; if i get some achievements along the way; that is cool with me 8-)

Same here, I just don't have the time to get a 100% achievement for games. Usually it takes me too long and by the time I have some solid progress on it, a new game I want to play has come out. But since I know I'll be playing MK9 forever, I'm sure I'll get that 100% eventually.

I'll get all the offline ones, but I don't know about the online stuff. The only games I've gotten 100% on are Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 4, and most of those were pathetically easy.

I have a few 100%. My most proud 100% is easily Mega Man 9. Beat the game without dying? What a pain in the ass.

I doubt I will get 1000/1000 in MK... Frankly, I'm just not that good at fighting games. If the difficulties remain the same as the demo, as Expert was fairly easy, I may aim for it.

I'm certainly not calling you out BBBLP, but I see this a lot and I often scratch my head. Why? I'm against online achievos in games like BioShock 2 or Dead Space 2, which are largely single-player experiences, but for games like Gears of War, Halo, CoD, and fighters like Tekken, SF, and MK, isn't that a huge draw? When I went to the arcades, I went to play other people. Fighting games are, by and large, PvP. So why the utter disdain for multiplayer achievements in fighters, especially when they're as simple as win 100 matches (think of how fast they go by; you can get 10 long matches in within an hour, let alone fast ones). Even scrubs like moi can pull that off.

Some of the online ones are retarded, like the respect points or whatever it was. I hate online achievements that force you to need the help of other players. I'll be getting all of the achievements though, legit. I see a lot of people boosting the 10 consecutive wins though.

I'm PS3, but getting platinum is basically the same thing.

I think the online trophies like double flawless online and no jumping and winning a match online are gonna be a major pain in the ass. I plan to get as many of the online trophies quickly as the game comes out before people get really good and I get my ass kicked.

I hope to be able to get it, though.

an easy game to get 100% comp. is god of war 3.
bioshock did something stupid that i hope i never have to experience again, making it so you have to purchase dlc to obtain trophies. i dont have the money for that and you should be able to get every trophy in the game without having to buy dlc. i will be playing online alot on this game.

Im planning on getting the plat. Got MK vs DC without boosting. Though this one will have way harder online trophies, like 8 throws in a ranked match and 10 ranked wins in a row

I got 100% for UMK3, Doom 1, Worms 2, and Fight Night Round 3.
But admittedly they weren't that hard. I've been trying to 100% S/SF4
but that is near impossible without an arcade stick.

onlin e achievements are horrible, they shouldnt be in lists, i will do all the others the best i can though

I had 100% in Halo Reach until the newest maps came out and brought DLC achievements, I don't want to get the new maps though. I also have 100% in Gears 2, Dead or Alive 4 (on my old account), Halo 3, Modern Warfare 2, Worms, Sonic 3, Gunstar Heroes, and I'm missing only 1-2 achievements on a few others. DOA4 was by FAR the hardest. That's the first game I got when 360 came out, so it's all that I played, and I was awesome at it.

I seriously find it inconceivable that people will buy this game and refuse to play online. What's the point, beating up the CPU constantly? It's not the same experience as playing another person. Unless you're in a fringe Third World country with dial-up, I refuse to believe that none of you will be playing online.

I absolutely love playing online but I don't like online achievements. They force people to play in stupid ways and rage about things. Like in Halo 3 there was an achievement to run over someone while in this ATV called a mongoose, so people were just trying to do that all game instead of playing normally, and they would rage quit if someone else took the vehicle.

I guess some online achievements are fine. Like play x number of online matches, and stuff like that.
