SLOW THE FVCK DOWN!

WHOA!

SINCE WHEN THE FVCKING SHIT WAS RAIDOU KUZUNOHA IN NOCTURNE? HE REPLACES DANTE!

I saw that video a while back. Apparently, it's from the "Chronicle Edition" that was only released in Japan. It would have been more interesting if Raidou had his own party of demons though.

SMT has a pretty good following in NA right? Hope they don't try to destroy the US fanbase.

Also this probably means Dragon's Crown sequel to be Japan exclusive :(

SMT, and a lot of games published or developed by Atlus for that matter, have a niche audience. Their games are released limited quantities, unlike AAA titles that ship millions of copies.

Hopefully, Atlus USA doesn't get booted by Sega. They are the ones who are responsible for localizing and publishing niche/obscure titles from Atlus and other Japanese developers.

Atlus may be okay as long as Sega doesn't interfere with their business too much. Most of Sega's bad decisions relate to in-house games.

There are some spoiler pics though, so I'll put them in spoilers.

Good stuff. Does the book contain a lot of unused/rejected designs? As an audience we sometimes forget that the design is doesn't come with magic; it's process that changes as different people communicate their ideas move a project in a particular direction.

I'm not a fan of the Centaur design, although the creativity and technical skill of the artists is something to respect.

I saw a strategy guide for P3 at a store that specializes in older video games, but considering I'm too far in the game to make much use for it, but I am considering it for collecting purposes.

Believe it or not, there is not that many unused/rejected character designs, but there is a lot of designs for Mikado. I just didn't take a picture of many of them.

There's some pictures though that show someone in the Demonica armor, which is actually really cool because I think it's Strange Journey artwork that wasn't released because originally, Strange Journey was supposed to be SMTIV.

The Centaur design I think is alright. What I don't really like though is that with this artbook, everything is revealed and honestly, there's a lot of demons that just have some sloppy designs (drawing wise). Medusa is a great example, the design itself is great, but the execution is definitely not good. A lot of sloppy line work and crappy facial expressions. Though the really good demon designs are the more cool bosses like Kenji, Michael, Raphael, Uriel, Gabriel, Merkabah, Lucifer and Lilith.

I say get the P3 guide. I'd like to have one, but I'm not going to go out of my way to get one because I don't really need a guide and I'd way rather have an art book. I'm pretty sure there's some hidden gems though that you can find in the guide. Plus it'd be cool for collectors sake.

Yeah, there are plenty of published works where you can see errors in art, especially when production is rushed.

Something I noticed when playing P3...

Good lord! What happened to her arm?

The strategy guide was $20. There is game that I want to get soon, and a couple of soundtracks I am considering as well. Needless to say, it's low the priority list when it comes to occasionally using my discretionary income.

Just bought P2: Innocent Sin digitally so I can play it on my Vita. I now have every Persona game on my Vita except for Revelations Persona, P3 Vanilla/FES and P4 Vanilla, but that's only because the Vita can't play PS2 games, but I do have P3P and P4G! So it still counts!

I started playing 4 again yesterday.
I read that the stronger the ingredient demons, the stronger the fused demon. So if I throw some high ranking dudes into a low level demon, will that make the demon their level?

Naw, it'll make it a decent leveled demon. Say if I fuse a level 30 and a level 20, the demon that would come out would be around the level 23-26 range.

P3P is only worth it if you're interested in seeing a different ending
Spoiler:
Where Shinji can come back and you don't die at the end.
and also cool if you want to social link with the male members of SEES (Aki,Shinji, Ken, Koro and Junpei).

P4G is worth getting entirely because of the extra stuff they added in like the beach scenario, ski trip, extra social links like Adachi and Marie. Plus they added little cool stuff like the mopeds, gardening and even the possibility of getting caught if you're cheating lol.

Not sure how, but this piece of shit got me into Persona 3 FES
And unfortunately, I really like it. I'm enjoying it more than SMTIV so far. I like the fight animations and SMT has some sick ass monster designs. I'm right after the monorail BJ boss

What difficulty are you playing it on? FES isn't as hard as P4 (vanilla anyways) but can still be difficult at times. Especially with some level guardians that show up in Tartarus.

Level up your Academics then do part of the social link of the little girl at Naganaki Shrine. Midway through her social link, you'll meet a guy named Akinari. Do his social link. By far the best social link in P3.

On a separate note. I hated Persona 1 Portable. The game would have been awesome if they updated the combat. It's not a damn remake if nothing is really remade!

Anyways. While I hate the game, I actually really like some of the promo artwork for the game (Revelations at least. Not P1P) and I think the MC, Naoya looks pretty bad ass. I actually do still hope that some of the P1-P2 characters will show up in futures games. Yeah P3 and P4 are kick ass and I fvcking love those games, but P1 and P2 seriously don't get enough love. The stories on both are fantastic. They're not as anime-ish (The originals anyways) as P3 and P4 either, but the combat in both (all 3) games are just fvcking awful.

Playing on Normal. I was going to go hard, but the idea of a hardmode rpg scares the shit out of me.

I gave her that octupus shit, but now she says she wants a fizzy drink. I tried Dr Salt Fountain Dew and Funkist or whatever the fubar it's called. Nothing happens.

When you say best, do you mean best storywise or best as in most useful?

In the dorms, on the second floor there are soda machines. Get I think it's called Mad Bull or something like that. Then you should be good to go.

I mean that his social link story is good. It's my favorite one from P3 besides the Monk and Aigis' social link.

Believe it or not, at one point in the game, it's going to punch you in the feels. Either through the main story or through a social link. Akinari's social link was a punch to the feels.

Damn I'm about to go play P3P.

I need to get back to playing P3 FES, I got distracted by other games. I thought P3 FES was more difficult than P4 at the beginning. Shadows that move in the field are really fast and they can be hard to see since they blend fairly well in the dark background. The fatigue mechanic makes it so have to limit yourself to fighting large shadows, although it's not always possible depending on the layout of the dungeon floor. You have to plan your turns ahead of time since you are left at the mercy of the party-controlled AI. Mitsuru, stop using Marin Karin! On the other hand, P3 is more lenient in terms of enemy resistances.

I heard that The Answer is locked in Hard difficulty.
