Re: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona Series
I don't plan on going back.
Too busy trying to talk to Saki's depressed brother.

By end of the game I using Trumpeter as the main persona .
Chie was a disappointing for the most part, but came into her own with God Hand.
I'll try New Game + next time, now I'm going to start P3.

Use Kanji. God Hand is good but Kanji's Primal Force does better damage overall.
You're gonna love P3 more than P4. Trust me. If you enjoyed the story in P4, P3 will blow your fvcking mind.
There were some good moments, but the central plot of P4 was going nowhere. It wasn't until endgame where things start to fall into place.
I put in a few hours in P3. I'll find my around eventually, but I got lost because the setting/world is so much bigger than than in P4. I'm not too thrilled about non-controllable party members, but I'll just leave it at that since I knew what I was getting myself into. The UI isn't very well designed, which was thankfully addressed in P4.
Meh, the whole non-control thing isn't too much of a bother. Your partners usually don't do anything retarded.
When I encountered the 3 Venus Eagles, Yukari insists on shooting the one that is already down instead of trying to knock them all down in order to trigger an all-out attack. Basically, you have less in the way making tactical decisions and more or less be at the mercy of the AI.
Controlling your party is nice and makes you feel like you're actually in charge, but being at the mercy of the AI feels more realistic due to you not being able to control people in real life lol.
Every character you use in your party at one point will do something stupid like doing an elemental break when they don't need too, not going for an AoA, even to the point of skipping a turn.
