Heh, thats a good question @ CT since ScorpionBlaze liked the gallery i build for him and thanked me for it, i thought he surely wont have anything against it if i try to make that gallery as known as possible among Mortal Kombat fans, i will definitive inform him about it though since i love transparency and its in my interest to be in good terms with artists..especially those whcih i am a fan from by myself

Why am i advertising my website or a certain part of it?
Around 85% of the visitors of my website are coming from google directly...so its really not because i am in need of visitors or in need of advertising the site trough TRMK (which is the only site beside deviantart where i advertise my site btw)
But i worked around 5 hours on this gallery here of Scorpionblaze, and i am a big fan of his works and of Mortal Kombat of course and i thought it cant hurt to share my work + ScorpionBlaze`s great fan arts with my favourite MK Community. While i am sure that some or even many from here have seen one or more of his works already, i am also sure that the most people didnt see all of his MK related works on one big gallery.
Fans like to share fanstuff with other fans,
Via my web project game art hq i try to feature artists and their works, many of them are really great talents but overseen in the mass of artworks you see on sites like deviantart.
On GA-HQ i really put some extra work to the so called "search engine optimation" that means that i try to get the pictures found easily via google, bing and so on.
My site is only 3 months old now, but through my efforts many pictures of the artists i featured became more popular trough my little site there as trough the giant community which is deviantart since the pictures there arent related with keywords, meta tags and all that stuff to make them appear when you search for "Mortal Kombat Noob Saibot" via google as example.
I am a big MK fan since 1992, a big fan of videogames in general and alsoa big fan of fan art. While i myself have only a bit talent maybe to do some photoshop crap, i try to do my best to make good fan art more popular.
Those are more or less my evil intentions for the site and why i am advertising it.
To clarify another thing, there are ads from google and amazon on my site,and i made the massive amount of around 2 dollars with it since they are there (30 august) . The site grows fast since i use a lot of my free time for it, i pay around 25 euro for it in a month and ahve a webspace of 10 GB. Around 1 GB is used already. When these 10 GB are fully used which will maybe be the case in 9-15 Months i will need a bigger server to maintain the site.
I calculate with 50+ euro for that in one month. It is not my intention to be milionaire gbk now with a site about fan art but i am also not rich and 25 euro are already some money most people wouldnt invest in such a site.
With the ads there, i try to at least lower the cost for the case the site gets really big and needs a bigger server.
Speaking about intentions...on DA i started the probably biggest fana rt project related to Mortal Kombat ever done via my MK group there.
The target is nothing els than to get every! MK Character drawn by a different artist. Including even concept characters like Zebron and our beloved Nimbus Terafaux. The project was started yesterday evening, so far 18 artists including some which are known here as well like Esau13 are onboard already. for more informations visit (tadaaah!)
