No. Taven is probably the most bland, forgettable character in MK.

Besides, he's tied to Armageddon. This whole timeline reboot is supposed to avoid Armageddon. Kind of doesn't make sense.
 
No for Taven. I never liked him and I consider him to be one of the most boring main characters in Mortal Kombat. If he does return then it won't be for a very very long time.
 
YES to Taven. I hope they bring him back. I loved his time abilities and I loved his design: more Greek rather your typical Chinese warrior or American military from MK. Plus, he's Edenian ;)

Goddamnit, Taven sucked so badly. Taven, Daegon, Kobra, Darrius, Dariou etc. all need re-homed to a new realm.. or possibly a black hole. Huge NO for Taven.
 
NO i really dislike Taven he doesn't interest me in the slightest.. if Armageddon ever happens again i hope he isn't part of it at any capacity. As for MKX, he isn't even cameo worthy.
 
No, for Taven...he had time abilities? I never noticed that all i remember is a Fire ball, maybe i'm getting him mixed up. with Deagon

But I really hope people read it, I'm really proud of what I wrote and you might be missing out if you're a hardcore Mortal Kombat fan. It is truly how I think things transpired and it puts Taven in a new light.

Also, I don't understand the hatred. It's not Taven's fault that Liu Kang wasn't protagonist (again). Taven was actuallykind of funny, waking up in modern times, kicking sissy special forces hero asses without having anything to eat after waking up from a thousands of years sleep (!), making buddies with Sub-Zero and generally being a wise-ass arrogant GOD, as he should behave. Don't want to offend, but it seems as if the people who call him boring didn't understand the convoluted plot of Armageddon, made for gamers who don't like simple things. The brothers' backstory was magical, going thousands of years into the past, into a period when Shao Kahn waged war on Edenia and Shinnok was still an Elder God. That's like a Tolkien adventure and the guys at NRS will keep on improving the MK universe. If you don't like the direction Armageddon went, then probably Mortal Kombat is not the game for you because it's NOT just a fighting game and in MKX there will be more new characters and worlds than ever before.

Don't mean to be harsh, it's just my opinion. Read my interpretation for Taven and if you still don't like him I'll bow and call you "Masters"

I understood the lazy story in Armageddon...

I just hate Taven. Everything from his design to his abilities are boring as shit to me.
And this is coming from somebody who doesn't hate Mokap...
