I don't think NRS will go as far as RAPE for anyone's origins! Probably be more than they bargained for. I can see Kano stealing/adopting CASSIE from Birth. But RAPE...NO WAY!!!!
 
I would be ok with the rape...in the story if Cassie were actually Kano's child instead of johnny cage (the sibling thing is stupid)..... i would prefer MK not go that route/ (the rape revenge route that is) and I really don't think they need to either.

Look it did cross my mind i'll admit it... after reading berserk i'm desensitised to everything, the eclipse and demon rape scene left me an empty husk.
 
Mortal kombat draws in lots of....ummm...different people.You know...like the people who want the very realistic death scenes where characters are begging for their life as they get tortured before the initial fatality .. Sick..it's a game.
 
IF Mileena is to make the cut, would you want her to keep her Tarkatan features or have it be something she transforms into? Like in the MK Legacy stories.
Saw this video from Fright Night and automatically thought it be cool if Mileena changed at will,
 
Let's make Art Lean an official MK character.

Quan Chi started as a Threshold MK character, and when he became an official character a year later, he became a star almost immediately.

Art Lean, Hahaha! But seriously i doubt he would be a character that ppl would appreciate and become more of a joke character. But still i wouold like to have him have some type of reference. maybe a photo with JC or JC & Sonya going to his grave bc he defended Cassie when she was younger but was killed and she lived

Midway hit paydirt with a Threshold character the first time they put one in their games. Surely you would think that more characters from Threshold's MK media would've ended up in the games.

How is she useless, exactly?
Cassie has NO exact clones of Sonya or Johnny's moves, as stated by Patrick (who actually got to play as her).
If you look at her gameplay videos, Cassie's Spec Ops variation is actually more like Stryker with the air raid missiles, guns and baton.
Sonya deserves as much of a spot as Johnny, given that they are the 2 surviving mortal heroes of MK9.

Ed also said that Cassie would be able to do fatalities on her relatives (meaning more than 1), and I seriously doubt that Cassie would do fatalities on either Sonya or Johnny in story mode.
Ed also stated that he found the interaction between children and their older relatives to be interesting in MKX.
That all but outright confirms that those 2 (Sonya and Johnny) are in.
The only thing that's left for NRS to do is to actually make another video and for Ed to say "Today, we're revealing another classic character in MKX..... Sonya (or Johnny)."

There are NO silhouettes in the current build, and the roster spots have changed, giving us returning characters on the top and new characters on the bottom.

Just thought id mention that Boon did confirm there is a hint of truth to the fake roster screen.
He said some of the silhouettes are hints, and some are there to mess with us.

So my guess is...
-Obama = Baraka
-Lego man = nothing

He also mentioned how the select screen "icons" were NOT touching each other. Their kinda floating in place.
I assume that means when they get fixed in, they'll be able to fit more characters.

I remember Ed saying that, but hint of truth also means that there are liars in there, and if there are liars in there then I consider all the silhouettes to be lies until the characters are actually revealed.
It's a matter of trust, and I don't trust ANY of the silhouettes, at all.
Raiden's hat wasn't in with the rest of the silhouettes, so none of the silhouettes mean anything, as far as I'm concerned.
Also, with the way that they are revamping characters and since they look different in MKX (with exception to Raiden), I sure as hell wouldn't have guessed Sub-Zero, Scorpion or Kano's silhouettes prior to the characters being revealed.
MKX Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Kano look VASTLY different from their MK9 counterparts.
