**** NRS for doing this its like i pre-ordered for no reason..... Now stupid losers are gonna get this and are feeling smart for waiting....

I think I am gonna wait this one out. I have MS points stored on my console, however I would rather much spend them on other MK related DLC that might be better than this, for example, the Arcade Collection. If I have enough points left over when everything is said and done, then I will buy this pack. I am pissed though that they lied to us, yeah sure theyre known as ********ters, but when it comes to this kind of stuff, its bad marketing if they go a completely different direction than what they intended to do.

I feel conflicted. I want to complete Reptile, Scorpion and Sub-Zero's move lists, but if this content really is all just on the disc, I don't know if I can bring myself to pay, especially after everything we were told pre-release regarding on-disc DLC.

Hey guys it was just confirmed this morning that the 7 classic skins along with the 3 classic fatalities will be out on June 7th for $4.99 PSN or 400 points for Xbox Live to view trailer with info: www.trmk.org/news/21725/klassic_skins_pack_dlc_video_details_revealed.html#comments

Goddammit. So much for not having to pay for s--t that's already on-disc. Wonderful.

You guys do realize that M$ and $ony are the ones who set the prices, right? This isn't NRS' fault.

Ok, but they knew that. If they knew they couldn't decide the pricing for their DLC they should not have promised us "free stuff" or that we wouldn't have to pay for anything that was already on-disc. Either way, not cool at all.

The way I see it, the retros have made a market for themselves. From a business stand point people were payin $20-$80 bucks on ebay for just one of them. NRS would be dumb not to make something of them. $4.99 for 7 classics and 3 fatalities, is a pretty sweet deal if you look at it that way. But on the other hand, they did promise free DLC, but they didn't say what content. I remember reading they were going to add things in with each dlc, that wouldn't be listed on the dlc title, so when you look at it, you saying paying $4.99 for the retros is to much, but no has it yet to see if any other surprises come with.

Wow NRS, just wow. **** you.

Also, Yeah, I saw the classic smoke glitch. That also happens when you do Smoke's first fatality on a classic male ninja.

I'll probably get this and Skarlet. Since Skarlet will be demoed at E3, I would guess that she will be available the week after this costume pack.

There was just too much proof that these costumes would be paid DLC. Hardly anyone believed me when I said that the preorder costumes wouldn't be unlockable in the krypt. The same with unlockable with beating the 4 secret challengers. And the same with getting them as free DLC. So now we finally now the obvious.

And just because they said that there will be free DLC doesn't mean they lied. There could very well be something free that comes out in DLC that WILL be free, though it might not be a character. It could be that the Smoke or Noob Classic costumes will be free (2 of which I don't care for).

The excitement for these classic costumes doesn't make much sense to me. I don't understand how everyone complains about the slightest similarities between two characters, yet everyone is so willing to buy a big batch of palette swaps.

"OMG I cannot believe Cyber Sub-Zero has bombs that look like Cyrax's bombs. NRS really dropped the ball with this character. He looks like a copy of Cyrax so I refuse to give him a chance and admit that he has an entirely different playstyle. I hate him.

..But I can't wait to pay money for four identical palette swaps of my favorite ninjas! That's classic MK right there! Wait, where's Smoke? There better be a fifth palette swap! Don't screw us, Boon!"

Perhaps you don't get it because you're just too young. I mean, the MK franchise is as old as you are. I somehow doubt MK1 or MK2 was the FIRST (and for a while, only) MK game you played. Had they been, then maybe you'd understand.

MKT was my only video game in when I was a little kid in Russia.

I respect that. I probably don't understand.

But you only preordered for 1 char costume.

And now this stupid loser and all the rest of stupid losers feel smart, no wait... we ARE smart :)

There's a reason why the Retro Costumes cost money- Micro$oft determines the prices on the DLC (so they can get profit), and NRS don't want to screw the people who play Mortal Kombat on XBOX 360 (they're already screwed for not having a guest character and a stage), so they charge the PS3 DLC as well. Simple.

I am buying it. Call me a "sheep" or whatever, but just so you guys know, if DLC purchases are low, chances are that they will not release anymore DLC at all for the game. Anyways, I like the costumes and fatalities so this is a definite buy for me.
