Retro DLC Pack - Would you buy it?

It's not about the money guys. It's principle. I for one do not like when they're taking advantage of me.

They are charging for a 10KB text file that will unlock the content we all bought two months ago. I don't care if it's 5$ or 0.01 cents. The fact that there is even a price tag on such a thing is a slap in the face to anyone who paid their hard earned money on the game.

Selling post-production content such as new costumes and new characters like Skarlet is perfectly fine. I don't mind DLC like that. But deliberately locking the costumes on the disk so they can charge for them later is just shameless greed on their part.

I love MK as much as anyone here, but as a consumer I will not support them if they don't respect me.

Exactly. I've never liked being f----d with. I'll mess around and joke and all that, but when it comes to straight up being screwed, that's not ok. That's what this is, fans getting treated like idiots.

If you aren't happy about buying it then you shouldn't. If it doesn't sell well then they would release it for free, and would learn from their mistakes. No offense but anyone who buys it (if it has a price) is a sheep. Same with gas/petrol prices, they just keep skyrocketting because the sheep eat it up and no one says anything.

Buying them doesn't make everyone a 'sheep'. I might buy them, I might not, I haven't decided yet, but, if I do buy them, it isn't because I'm a 'sheep', it's because I generally don't care about spending $5.

Basically this. But also I believe that the Kostume pack will be free down the line possibly when skarlet is released or one of the dlc kombatants because it just seems like another money grab that isn't necessary but they figure, "Hey why not try to milk a few more bucks". It's just good marketing.

I'm pretty much kontent but I would like them just to have them.
