Reptile revealed!

the way he releases the acid ball its strange, so they didnt give sub-zero his
ground freeze so they cang give reptile an acid spill move? I like that plus his grab is very creative.
i cant wait to see more of his gameplay.

Agree with the Acid Ball move. It looks like how Jax shot his missiles in MK3.

As for the Acid Spill move... looks alot like Bo'Rai Cho's puke move. Maybe that means we won't see Bo'Rai Cho in this game, now that Reptile has a move too similar to his.

Are you just assuming that or do you have a source? I'm just assuming as well, but I know IGN. If it was NRS, I'd imagine they would have prepared a variation trailer like Quan Chi's. Or like I wouldn't be surprised if they offered, but IGN preferred something louder and dumber. In either case, if it was a variation trailer I'd probably be very hype, but it was a poorly-edited quick look.
 
Just watched the Reveal.....

After that very short minute trailer, I had a very ugly facial expression, and literally said to myself ".......Meh......Meeeeeeh. Let me watch it again."

Then I watched it again. I still said "......Meh. Let me watch it one more time.

.......I rewind that video 26 times(and I counted). I WANT TO LIKE REPTILE'S REVEAL SO BAD!!!......But I f***king can't.

*Sigh*......Hype-splosion my a**. He moves and fights like a modified version of MK9. His fighting stance is so neutral. Only thing I DO like is the mask he has, and his eyes......Thats it.

I also said to myself "Why does it feel like Kung Lao is outshining Reptile in his own Trailer?" LOL I'm not suppose to feel that way. The Trailer itself is just horrible. Its disappointing, because I never hated Reptile. I loved fighting as him in DA. I just don't care much for him.

By the way, I kept rewinding to hear the dialogue. Ooooh Kung Lao. You and your humor. LOL

I always wanted to use that. Maybe we'll have dissolving defense variation of some sort? I'm hoping Thursday will answer these questions. As a fan I'm very happy, a combo of new and old that I wanted. The fatality looked average for this new MK, but I'm hopeful the end will be suitably gruesome.

Ah yes, just like we have Variation trailers for Kung Lao and Kitana...
IGN is a news station. They are given material to post, they don't make the material themselves, unless it is IGN-based content, which the Reptile reveal isn't.
 
Ya know what, I'll level with this....

I've yet to see all his variations. I'll hold my final judgement on him until I see his full potential. They might have been using a variation in this trailer that I just can't rock with. Perhaps his other two will more suit my fancy.
 
Kung Lao has quarrels. Bahahahahahaha I loved that part.

I dig this reveal, now my brother has someone else to play as besides Scorpion to fight against me. :cheers:

I meant to say that this is what they asked for: a gameplay mashup. Just like the Noob Saibot trailer for MK9.

And I don't mean to say that this is the least-hype reveal because it's Reptile, but because of the way the trailer is. It's not an in-depth variation trailer and it's not a cinematic trailer with awesome music and tons of new stuff.

LMAOOO I love it. I can't get over that dialogue. So happy Kung Lao was always my favorite character. He just keeps getting better and better.
