Rain- The Prince of Edenia

Here's his updated bio:

A refugee orphaned by Shao Kahn's conquest, Rain grew up under the protection of the Edenian Resistance. An exceptional fighter, he soon rose through their ranks. As his reputation grew, so did his arrogance. When Rain demanded leadership of the Resistance forces, he was refused. Infuriated, he turned against his rebel comrades and betrayed them to their sworn enemy. In payment for this treason, Rain was promised his own army by the emperor Shao Kahn. Power would be his - no matter the cost.
 
With Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung both dead, and Mileena presumably the empress of Outworld, could this lead to a fierce rivalry between Rain and Reiko over the throne? And could MK10 touch on a Killzone 3-like story where two evil people are campaigning for the emperor of Outworld after their former leader was killed?
 
So, they really are going to give Rain a villain role. In Trilogy, Rain finds Kitana and he goes to a suicide mission to kill Shao Khan.

Unlike many people here, I actually liked some of his storyline in Armageddon. I love he is a demi-God and the brother of those two stupid characters, but the execution was terrible. Rain did absolutely nothing to the storyline where there were much more relevant and powerful villains: Onaga, Shao Khan, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi and Shinnok...

No DLC character will be overplayed because most of the time you can't even use them because other people don't have them or at least the free packs.

In the MK site says "Prince of Edenia" that means he knows about his royal status in this game.

I am very much okay with this lol. Even if his being dubbed a Prince could lead him back down a dicey road story-wise (did not dig Taven and Daegon), that bio is fantastic and the wallpaper is six different kinds of badass.

btw, watched the trailer.. AGAIN :P calling it now, patch after ??? , Rain DOES have an entry line. he talks when he enters, in the video he only says like 'yiah!' but it's so obvious he's saying SOMETHING. patch after ??? for alt costume for DLC chars, nekropolis slot and entry lines

ok so first we had him and Kitana.. straight. then we had him and.. whoever, cause people want him to be gay. but with his half sister now? COME ON PEOPLE! :P

well yeah, that's why I said after ???'s release. Rain talks, it's so obvious! there is NO way he doesn't talk at all, the video makes a yiah sound and his mask moves as if he's saying something, a line. calling it now for that patch :P

It'd be nice to see more polish applied to the rough edges of the DLC characters, no reason they should have been released like that. Here's to hoping lol.

actually yes, it's pretty retarded. but hey, it IS possible they didn't work on alts. after the release of ??? they could work on those and the nekropolis thing. as for the entry lines, the voice actors were already paid and in skarlet/kenshi trailers I think you can't make it, but in Rain's it's SO obvious, he talks for SURE! there is no way he doesn't, I am SURE of it. hopefully they just didn't have enough time and they will wrap the first batch of DLC chars and their problems or missing things after ???
 
I'm really dissapointed they didnt give Rain a Glacius inspired uppercut. (all you KI fans know where its at)


I guess I'm gonna have to live with it being a sektor clone

His masks moves because he was spinning like crazy, is just the law of inertia, sadly he wont talk.

Also I did get that it was a Prince reference...after I pictured it lol
