only downsides for me:

a) no lightning fatality, maybe we will get it if they do fatalities as DLC
b) no line when he enters the fight :/
c) no alt costume by default

I hope a) & c) are fixed in time, other than that, it's pretty fair to say this is the best Rain EVER

im hoping that 2nd fatality involves him jamming that water rod into the oppenend head or something and then summoning lightning, exploding their head. that would be a lot cooler than just your typical decapitation.
all in all though, Rain looks SICK! been waiting for him since the game came out!

I hope it's something cool if it is just a decap its probably a lazy edit of Quan Chi's second
 
Cant wait to play as Rain ****in A! Love his Super roundhouse. Its bad ass how instead of him teleporting it teleports the opponent. His first fatality looks like an old skool over the top MK fatality reminds me of Kitanas Kiss from MK2. Like the tele uppercut as well. And they kept his water blast and water ball. And Im digging his look and the win stance is so bad ass! I wasnt the biggest Rain fan but NRS has won me over. Only disappointment no 4th DLC revealed @ the end and no reveal who the next Klassics will be.

Waterball [X = armor?]
Water blast
Water up kick
Roundhouse kick [X = armor?]
Water Teleport punch
Lightning [X = 3 lightnings]

Throw = Water teleport slam

Sounds about right. I would assume the
Ex-Tele uppercut is the same as Sektors. Pops em up then back down so you can juggle your opponent. Cant recall if its armored though. Dont play with Sektor ever.
 
Is it just me, or is the veil covering his face a bit annoying? If you look carefully, it looks like it freely flails about in the air. Other than that he looks like a pretty solid character. My team is finally complete.
 
Finally someone i will enjoy. he seems at least as great as Smoke is. My 3rd char i will take seriously - might be top tier as well.

I would very much like that. Another slice n' dice fatality, especially one so similar to Quan Chi's mediocre second, would be disappointing.

I saw one ex and one regular waterball... the ex one (at :42) floated the opponent over rain's head and the regular one (1:16) traveled him across the screen. I dont know if thats the difference between the two. Maybe one is just armored or takes meter away.

I also saw a regular and ex water up kick. The regular (:41) pops the enemy back and the ex (:47) seems to go higher with anti-air properties.

I saw a standard water blast (:53) with no ex

The ex roundhouse (1:03) looked like it is possibly a parry but the normal roundhouse (1:14) was clearly used as a part of the combo

The ex teleport (:33 & 1:07)... didnt see a standard teleport


Triple lightning (:46) single (1:15)
 
Everything about him is as I wanted, so chuffed. UMK3 moveset, drowning fatality, ninja type costume, control ball is made of water and that dull arse Liu Kang rip off kick from Armageddon is gone. I do like the overtones of his Armageddon costume on his ninja one.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!!!

My father was born on 19th July, my gilfriend was born on 19th July and here comes my favourite MK Trilogy kharakter.

He even has super roundhouse and water globe, nice mixed look (old and MKA together). I can barely be happier :)
I wonder ... does he have that cool forward palm pop-up punch from MKA? I liked that.
 
At first I was totally bummed that he didn't say anything in his intro, but everything else looked so badass I totally forgot. His X-ray was a little bland but everything else looked sick. Can't wait...

Who wants to guess his babality?

I was just about to post something similar,u saved me the typing after rewinding the video over an over lol.
