I don't think it's a typo, but it seems to be a sort of tagline for this series of 4 characters. So I don't think they'll change it, even for the 4th character's trailers. I think more characters will be coming, but I guess they'll be taking a break after the 4th character.
 
They will do more characters, they are having profit with these DLCs, and probably Rain will be one of the most sold, and so, they will probably prepare a 2nd pack with 4 more .... they are releasing these characters more or less fast, so, we have pratically half year yet for more characters .....

uhh.. please be joking :P the animation for the grab isn't the same, referring to Noob Saibot. the Sektor thing is just his teleport with a hit with water effects again. they gave nightwolf HIS lightning move. and idk what the reference to Reptile is. :P why do you think he is a copycat though? his simple fighting style is good, he has tons of water effects that look great, and his main moveset is from his old MKT moves. the rest have water effects but are somewhat similar to who you mentioned but with that logic, each teleport with a hit is a clone of the X character they first designed only with different effects around it

No, it is not a mistake. Boon tweeted a few days ago they edited that video three times to make sure it was perfect. If there were a typo on this, they would've seen it. Boon has stated he wants to do as much DLC as possible and we are giving him our money so why wouldn't he make more? "New kombatants coming this summer" will probably mean a few weeks after ??? they will release another set.

Half a year to wait for 4 more kombatants??? seems to long how about 2 or 3 months?
 
Who wants to bet NRS will announce the next 4 characters late August/early September? :wink:

I doubt NRS will want to miss out on the holiday season. Trust me, we'll be getting more DLC characters before the end of this year.

it says more kombatants coming this SUMMER, that's why I think it could be a typo. I too believe they will release at least another batch of four characters but not start it in the summer. I think they will release ??? , then give us a rain of costumes for a while and then proceed to their fall / winter programme of another four DLC fighters. the SUMMER thing is making me think this was a typo

I wont argue with that i mean he did say he will support the game with dlc for a long time. So you could actually be right :D. EXCITING.

sort of ..... we have more or less 5 months and half ahead until the end of year, but, during this time, new DLC can come anytime after the last one, 4th character .... so, let's see what happens !!

I hope to God I am right lol, but to be honest after Rain comes out.. I don't care what happens. I will back a cyber smoke 100& though but thats my opinion and I'm entitled too it. RAIN FTW!!! I.SAID.FTW.

I got to thinking about this... The referred to the XBox package as a SEASON pass... What if it was meant to be the Summer SEASON, meaning a new season in the Fall?

Technically, the fall starts on September 23rd... I could see them finishing this "season" with the ??? character in August (Who I think is Fujin)... Take a month or so off, then come back at the start of fall with another "season" of characters... Would make perfect sense, as a winter "season" could start right around Christmastime...

I think the Reptile is because of his Water Stream; it's the same as Reptiles Acid Stream, except from his hand instead of from his mouth.

If the stream is the EX version of the Water Drop, I honestly think it's just kind of THERE.....

Absolutely love his fatality where he fills them up with water! Nice to see a silly fatality again, some where just too serious/plain. His X-Ray looks brutal as well, ouch!
 
OMFG, Force ball, screen roundhouse. Rain amazing, me never play another character again. Crying now realizing I'll be in Florida when he comes out.

It's OK - you didn't need to emphasize the word Summer - I understood what you meant just fine.

What I'm trying to say is that they're using the sentence as a campaign slogan for these 4 characters, so I don't think they'd correct it for grammar.
