Rain's gameplay looks great, Yes -- his moves are just tweaked reanimations of other characters like Reptile and Noob Saibot but that's what the original games were all about when they added the playable of Ermac, Noob Saibot, and Rain into the mix in UMK3 and MKT. My only bone to pick was that the colors in his outfit all sort of blend together while he's in motion unlike the other ninja characters, but that's just my opinion from a design standpoint. His fatalities seems interesting, I hope the first one shown follows trend with Kenshi's and has a 3D effect in the result.

Regardless of who the fourth character is, seeing Rain completes the game, just in my opinion. We know a next-gen Motaro was too tasking for NetherRealm Studios to tackle and Cyber Smoke will defeat the purpose of story mode if/ when he's released.

That wasn't bad. I still think Kenshi was alot better. He has the best fatality in the game right now.

Seeing Rain's fatality makes me wonder why Kitana didn't get her kiss of death.

The minute Rain made Ermac a fat leaker in that gameplay video instantly made me think about kitana's fatality LoL

But when they use their masks they look really pretty, I think they used 2 different face models for masked and unmasked, the difference is huge.

PS - Or maybe I have some repressed fetiche for masked girls, who knows? LMAO

Yes. I totally agree. Perhaps they didn't find a good way of doing it in time for Kitana/the game going gold? Whatever the case, here's hoping they will indeed have Fatalities as DLC at some point.
I also totally agree on Kenshi having the best Fatality in the game so far. Friggin. Sick.
 
Loving the new Trailer, didn't get the season pass but i'm definitely saving my last 400 MSP to get him
 
Rain looks sick as hell!!! I cant wait to use him...he's going to be a beast. All NRS did was take rain from Trilogy and updated him! sick!
 
Sick trailer. The second fatality they showed seemed okay, but unless they're really holding back on it I'm not impressed. Otherwise, Rain looks fantastic. Super Roundhouse looks beast, his Water Ball could be a great set up move, and having a teleport can only help his stock lol. His X-Ray looks brutal too, I'm wondering if the opponent gets flung across the screen after the kick or what. All-in-all, really lookin' forward to getting my hands on him. =)

Plus, there was a storm of EPIC proportion this morning. It was so bad I couldn't go to class. Omen? Yessir.

Another fatality could be to fill the opponent with a LOT of water until s/he explodes.
