Haha i know, trust me, it really doesn't reflect the population. Everything here is really expensive and full of taxes. The PS4 is a big example... I found it around R$1600 ($511), but all the major stores (Walmart is one of them) sells them for $3600 ($1152). Right now, that the dolar is that high the difference of the USA prices are not that big. But last year (december 2014), when 1 dolar was around R$2, the difference was big.
When Dilma (the actual and last president) won last election, the dolar went from R$2 to around R$2,80. All investors take off their dolars out of circulation from our country cause they know she make no good for industries at all.
I'm almost finishing my graduation (Chemical Engineering) and i'm struggling very very hard to find a nice job.
