PS3/X360 versions - do they even exist?!

I absolutely do not understand this logic, what-so-ever. So you're denying yourself a better product simply because you're comfortable with using the inferior version? Not being able to afford it is one thing, and I totally understand that stance, but you stated yourself that you could go out and get a PS4 anytime you wanted. So why are you paying $60, full retail price, for games that are gimped and have less features as their current-gen counterparts?

Are you still using a Motorola Razr? Use MySpace? Record on a VHS camcorder? Listen to movies or music in Mono? None of those things are dead, they all still work. I highly doubt you would prefer to buy an older car with less features if it were the same price as a new car with lots of features.

Not to mention, it's this attitude that holds technology back. Mortal Kombat X was made on Unreal Engine 3 and not Unreal 4 because it wouldn't run on 360/PS3 hardware. Makes me wonder what MKX could have been had they not had 360 and PS3 in mind. Consoles that were released 10 years ago. And it's not even just video games. You wanna know what happened in the 10 years before 2005? We went from VHS, to Laserdisc, to DVD, to Blu-ray. From cellphone being the size of bricks to smartphones. From MP3 to FLAC. Television went from analog, to digital, to HD. I went from being in Kindergarten to Sophomore year of high school.

You said it yourself, I´m quite comfortable with my last gen console/games. I´m not gonna deny that it would be an inferior version, but we´ll just have to see how inferior it will really be. That said, I´m not gonna run and buy the last gen version as soon as it comes out either, but as long as it is a decent port with no flaws then yes, I´m in. I just like having that option and I´m considering it until more news are revealed.

I write and play music plus am involved with production. You know we could get into an artistical debate over this, right? It's not as simple as: "boo hoo music in mono" as if mono wasn't relevant in certain contexts. Not to mention the stuff from the good ol' days that isn't available on stereo. Or even video that haven't seen a re-release since the VHS days.

Nevertheless, I got your point about technology but some people just have different opinions and points of view. If A9X3L wants to do it on last gen, heck, who am I to say he shouldn't? It's his money and life. I still play Dreamcast, SNES, Wii... will you tell me I should burn those consoles and stick to newer stuff? (no rudeness meant with the question, I'm sure you'll understand what I mean)

It is when you have to buy a new T.V. for it. Then add monthly bills rent,car ect....So please keep your mouth shut. Not all of us can afford such luxuries so quickly....

I was unemployed for a year and a half of those . And the last 6 months i spent finding a job(during one of the worst winters ever in MA)....so again keep your mouth shut when you don't know what you're talking about....

You can't be serious. Gamers are hands down the most entitled people in the world, as evident from claims like this. Stop while you're already ahead.

Because what everyone else gets or doesn't get apparently validates or invalidates personal purchasing decisions. Smdh. :roll:
 
I'm so glad that I bought a XBOX One just for that game. I wanted the game with all it's features and I would have bought a next gen console anyway at some point. There are always special offers. I got my console about 80 Euros cheaper than it costs usually. There was one year for collecting the money since the game was announced. That's enough time in my opinion.
