PS3/X360 versions - do they even exist?!

I'm so glad that I bought a XBOX One just for that game. I wanted the game with all it's features and I would have bought a next gen console anyway at some point. There are always special offers. I got my console about 80 Euros cheaper than it costs usually. There was one year for collecting the money since the game was announced. That's enough time in my opinion.

shouldve got a ps4. playing MK on a xbox controller is inaccurate

Some people are not lucky enough to have a decent income and/or burdened by obligations like family or health issues. That being said, setting aside a little money and cutting back spending things you don't need can go a long way.

Honestly, MKXGoon101 has a point. Setting aside $5 per week for a year will get you halfway there for a new console. Let's face it, most people do not spend their money efficiently, using discretionary income on other vices. There are large spikes in spending when the need for new hardware arises, but otherwise I spend less on video games in a month than my friend does on alcohol, cigarettes, and weed.

You are NOT the one being attacked, it's the other way around. Why you are not being held accountable is beyond me.

That's in the USA though. What about the overseas markets, where console prices can cost infinitely more?

I know from eyewitness accounts on this very site that taxation is a major setback keeping gamers in South American markets such as Brazil and Argentina from upgrading.

Comparisons between USA and Brazil are absurd.

For f...k's sake, we spend almost half of our minimum wage with basic stuff like food. Our money simply means nothing these days. A simple conversion rate (American Dollar to Brazilian Real) shows it all. It's not like we're all miserable, but seriously, shut up if you're not using my friggin' shoes. It's easy to talk about how to spend money when you live under better circumstances. I don't like to stress myself with this BS, but it's absurd how entitled some people are when they have the chance to judge/point a finger. It's as if they had a right to tell you that you should set all of your priorities aside (family, studies, etc) for a friggin' videogame just because they were able to do it in their country. Seriously? I'll gladly take your American life if that's what you're offering. Please, let's exchange places and then come to me barking about buying videogames when you're living my current life. Thank you.

PS.: By the way, I'm not sure some of you noticed, but most of us who were talking about a PS3/360 version of MKX weren't really whining or whatever about it - it was some of you that came with your noses up there in the sky telling us how we should "get over it", adapt to our reality and buy a friggin' expensive new console to play a better version of the same game. It's not even like we're acting as if we were poor men from the jungle who sould be pitied. This thread is about a version that was promised to us, a product for which we're paying with OUR money, if you don't have any sort of interest in it, I suggest you look for the other threads about the current versions.

Don't forget about the european countries which have the currency other than EUR, CHF and GBP. For me the PS4 price is even beyond 4 times more than for the citizens od Euroland. It's A LOT of cash.

It's not even about setting money aside, what if people have other things to tend to that are more important? Car payments, mortgage payments, tuition, Hydro Bills, etc. etc. Not every gamer still lives with their parents and has nothing to worry about.

To not think about these factors is insensitive, naive and close minded.

Plus, if you have a premature death in the family, especially if that person happened to be the real breadwinner, and especially if that person, for whatever reason didn't have life insurance, the funeral costs, plus the usual expenses that pile up will put spending money on gaming out of the question.

And one more thing...PS Plus is voluntary for online gaming for the PS3...it is mandatory for online gaming on PS4, so there's that factor too.

So every single one of you telling people like MitsuharuSan and Zombie Fanatic to "upgrade now" and personally attacking them simply because they didn't, even personally attacking them for the circumstances preventing them from upgrading, change your attitude NOW, because I am making it clear that I will fight back on their behalf, regardless of the consequences.

no one is personally attacking anyone. you're the one doing it by telling us we have a bad attitude, although we were just giving suggestions.

Does THIS quote sound like a suggestion to you?

the system has been out for almost 2 years, your excuses are running out.

Or how about THIS?

someone finally realizes my point and doesn't attack me with sob stories.

That sounds more like a snobby entitled jerk to me than someone giving "suggestions".

And by the way, nice try pointing the finger at both myself AND ZombieFanatic as justification for your attitude, and trying to tell some bullshit story behind it instead of taking responsibility for your attitude like a MAN.

Now, if you don't have anything NICE to say about the PS3/360 ports of MKX, or the people who wish to play it, then get the hell off of this thread and don't come back.

lol the butthurt on this thread, but to keep you from crying, this will be my last post on this thread
Good! We don't need your attitude here, but you STILL owe ZombieFanatic and MitsuharuSan an apology for your condescending attitude towards them...and by the way, I can and will be using this incident against you in the future in public should you EVER display this attitude again!

I have bills to pay too, and they take precedence over any video game by a large margin. I doubt most people are so impoverished that they can barely put food on the table, let alone think about video games. Video games are not necessary to live, but it's not the only useless thing that people spend on. Recreational drugs, meals at restaurants, noneducational books, music CDs, movies, expensive clothing, gambling (when they aren't successful), etc are things you can control with your spending. When my income took a hit, I cut back further on video games and eating out, and pretty much stopped actively looking for artbooks and OSTs to collect. Unless you are one of the aforementioned impoverished, it's likely there is money that can be set aside.
