Who knows, if he were to be DLC that might have available for free as a separate character. And I agree, I would much rather some MK4-MKA characters that haven't gotten a chance to shine and that we haven't seen for some time. I just wanted to put it out there that NRS has done stuff despite saying otherwise, and how much in demand Rain is.
 
What I don't get is Mileena the whiny (UGH) princess died IN STORY MODE and is still playable, whereas Baraka, who also died IN STORY MODE and ISNT playable.

Baraka's importance to the MKX story is nothing more than the importance of a punching-bag henchman.

I just wonder where those 2 users are that kept telling me how Baraka was going to be playable in MKX.
I hope they are enjoying playing as Baraka in MKX. :laugh:
 
Was essentially his character was that of half the roster. You could give him a chapter and it would seem like he's actually doing something. (Sub zero)
 
that new Encore thing in boon's latest tweet makes me think we'll get stuff in demand, so my guess is Fujin and Rain plus that pit stage. I doubt there will be any more guest characters, they'll probably try to set the ground for other guests in the next game. if we do get a full kp2 and taking encore into account again, for the last two spots I'd have to say Smoke OR Noob Saibot and a wildcard surprise being one of: Reiko, Sareena or Havik
 
I do think there will be a KP2, because they did that whole dance with KP1 and adding the number would be bizarre otherwise.

ENCORE makes me worry Fujin won't be included, as it suggests MK9 returnees. Sindel is all I really care about, because I'm biased af, but it'd be so nuts not to include Fujin at this point. I'd feel really bad for his die-hard fans.

I'm hoping ENCORE and the Pit graphics mean four compatibility Klassic Stages with the four KP2 characters -- Rain, Sindel, [___], and Fujin. That third could be Baraka because that'd be easiest, but I could also see it being Cyrax or Noob Saibot to bring in more $$. If it's four stages, my guess would be The Pit X, the Dead Pool, Goro's Lair, and one other.
 
Good to see Fujin is still comfortably ahead.

Havik would be an amazing choice, but sadly I just don't see it happening =/
