Petition against new Youtube channel design

Youtube users who agree with me that the new channel design sucks massive eggs should sign this petition like I did. We should be given the option to choose whether or not to use the old channel design. This is how it is now but Youtube is forcing everyone to update to the new design on March 7th, 2011. The new channel design is not only confusing, but really lacks creativity and customization. Looks like random crap was just thrown onto the page.

So if you love the old channel design and want to keep yours, sign this petition and spread the word! There's nothing to lose. If Youtube doesn't listen, well, we tried.

I'm more concerned with them wanting to white-wash it of religious criticism. YT was great when it was a haven for uncensored free thought, but it's about to be nothing more than a simple tool for idiots like sxephil to make money off of nothing.
 
I prefer the old way but it still works fine for me. To be honest i have worse things to worry about like getting up ontime for work and bills. Good day sir
 
I've had mine set back to classic style ever since they started doing the new layout, but why the hell are they forcing the new one? Why not have both options?

yeah I heard about this too. Youtube's really starting to pussy out
 
What is it with youtube AND twitter changing every few months...........Just keep them how they are so people can actually get used to it for real......:)
 
Yeah I do not know why websites like to change everything right when you get used to it. I like the other version of YoUTube better but this one is alright. I don't really mind.

Yeah, I don't really mind it, it's still easy to search and watch videos, I just hate the ads is all, and the fact that they cut a lot of stuff out....it isn't as free as it was. I am actually surprised they haven't cut my videos, though, they have footage from cartoons and songs in them and I have my WWE '12 entrance, lol. They cut one of my videos I made like 10 years ago, though. I wasn't happy about that....
 
its no joke at all that youtube is starting to change for the worst. I'm not even talking about the layout design anymore, I can get over that.

Like Eks mentioned, they are now finding any excuse to remove something that may be religiously "offensive" (but we know which that they are doing this for, but I'm not gonna get into that)

and even recently they are rapidly cracking down on removing copyrighted videos. Ones that have been there for years. This is caused by pressure from companies most likely. SOPA may have been halted, but it's influence and pressure are still looming over.

Youtube can still perform the necessary functions, though I admit the new layout has become increasingly cluttered. One thing that has never changed though is the mostly shitty userbase.
